March 2016 - Flying Stars Forecast - bitesized

March - Equinox Month  ~ a time to shore up plans for this year and make appointments, goals and schedule your next steps for success.

Dark moon is on the 9th and a great time to ponder your inner thoughts, feelings and pathways.
Full Moon is on the 23rd, just after Equinox; after the 9th the energy builds.

After two solid months of intense energy layers, it's breather time people! but also, it is a GREAT month to practice the ancient art of keeping to yourself...

A little snippet from the AIG 2016

Three sectors of the compass are affected by conflict energy combinations of one kind or another and this will permeate the general vibe of the whole month. If you have a bedroom, front door or office in the West, NW or North, then this is the month to keep things very perfect, very quiet and very tidy.
IF, you notice situations getting out of hand or over the top, try a few of the remedies below:

West ~ Add Fire to dismantle the potential for rivalry and conflict. Pale Fire with ‘beautiful’ kind is best. Flowers in Fire colours. Tealight candles in red or pink glass holders. A large vase of silk or satin cherry blossoms. Large Rose Quartz specimen.

NW ~ Add Metal Remedy to the NW to dismantle the problematic potential of the Monthly Star 2 with the Annual Star 3. Called ‘fighting bull sha’ or aggressive low level qi, this can disrupt harmony in all aspects of life.

North ~ Add Water in shape and colour only in large amounts or made the primary focal point, to dismantle the potentially destructive combination of Star 7 and Star 6. Called ‘clashing swords’.

If you'd like to find out more about using Flying Stars Feng Shui in daily life, please pop over to the website and take a look at the Manuals and Guides available as downloadable PDF's. Plenty of articles to download immediately too if you find yourself needing a bit of insight into just what FSFS 'is'.

Blessings for a quiet and peaceful month.

Infinite possibilities begin with you

It is too easy to shift blame and anger onto someone else, something else...to look to the future for a cure or the past for an excuse. Looking here and now with no shame, no blame and no fear of retribution is a healing experience.
Kindness to yourself begins with kindness to others. Learning to unravel the occurrences and happenings with objectivity, mixed with a healthy dose of compassion for yourself and for those involved, will move mountains.

Clear the way...

"Clear the way and let it come to you."

When energy is blocked it cannot find a path to follow, and it festers, re-hashing the layer of energy until it is spent. You've heard of 'Groundhog Day' yes? Or being 'stuck in a loop'? Recycling is great for metal, wood, plastic and paper...but not so much for you and your life's journey...

If you hear yourself saying phrases like,.."I really hate it when this happens" ..."Why is bad stuff always happening to me/us?"... "I can't see a way out of this situation"... "It feels as if the world is against me", or similar, then you are receiving a message loud and clear that your current life situation is in need of change.

Comfortable change, when attained, is a beautiful journey of discovery, achievement and enjoyment. The simple and often misunderstood act of 'change' is all about inviting in a new set of possibilities, opening yourself to new potentials by establishing a new grid of energy in your home, mind, heart, life and more.

When energy flow (qi flow) is nourished with easy, meandering avenues, it will naturally become creative, alive and dynamic.
The outer cycle of energy is normal, and natural, and nourishing...this is feng shui theory describing the flow of Qi.
The Elements represent a 'type of energy' not only the material form.

How do we apply this idea into everyday life?
Through our thought processes being given new and nourishing ways to solve problems, perceive issues and attain prowess. (meditation, self-improvement literature and courses)

Through our food and liquid intake we can drastically change our body's ability to process toxins and nourishment as well. We can change the energy layer of physical health within days if proper qi flow options are taken.

Through our involvement with social interactions and entertainment we can assist both thought and physical qi flow.

Through our intimate relationships we can heighten the spiritual heart connections we have with our beliefs and loved ones.

Through respecting our finances and observing with gratitude the current living conditions we are immersed in, we can build a new sense of stability and security to support wealth opportunities.

Long ago I wrote an article about 'shaking up the Grid', which was a similar piece, relating the connection between our energy layers and our lifestyle. If the grid is changed, that is, the current interlocking layers are moved, refreshed, removed and re-instigated with the highest possible energy flow, then our life will be refreshed with healthy new qi flow, and healthy new occurrences will manifest.

Today, think about two things you want to change or need to change, and write down options for making these things change for the better. Two small steps today that you can put into practice for one month.

Carpe Diem (of sorts) for the new year to come.

Blessings

Affirmations for a balanced Mind

When the new year comes around it is often heralded with an insight into how busy or lonely, fulfilled or longing, light or heavy we are feeling. The observance of such things can bring us the opportunity and the enthusiasm to make beneficial changes and to plan a schedule of achievements to aim for.

I use affirmations to help me set up a vibe for the day or week or month. Some of them I'll use each and every day, others I'll keep for when I feel unbalanced and off-course. During January I am compiling a few of the affirmations I'm using and popping them into a file I've named 'Affirmations for a balanced Mind'. In time I will make it available as an ebook for you to download and use at will. I'm intending to put them as a file on my phone so I can access inspiration at my fingertips wherever I am, but you might like to save them as a screensaver so that it rolls across your computer when you have a little downtime.

Here are a couple that I've make up into posters already. They are formulated from the message of the day I am receiving while I wake up and perhaps meditate or contemplate the day ahead, or the situation at the time.

To write your own affirmations for positive thought enhancement, take the 'problem' at present and examine what it means to you. For example: I had a frought morning of children fighting, demanding and whining. All I had wanted to do was enjoy the birdsong from the mountain and cool down as the heat had already risen to an uncomfortable level. When I took the time to observe what I needed to do to achieve harmony and peace I was able to see that my energy was being scattered and I felt scattered, unbalanced and definitely off-course.

I redirected my emotions from anger, frustration and immaturity towards being the adult they (and I)  needed. And so I thought to myself 'this is all about using my energy wisely and purposefully'. I thought some more on this as I drew the curtains on the sunny side of the house, whacked the fan up to high, and hugged each child quietly asking them for what they needed right now. Within a few minutes everyone was peacefully eating, watching or drawing and no one was fighting or upset. It was within those moments of quietly being a responsible adult (ugh! why IS that so hard sometimes when in reality it's exactly who we are?) that I worked through to the affirmation of "I embrace the most supportive avenue for my energy now". And it felt good.

When things seem to be 'out of control',...specifically your control, it can be therapeutic and restorative to take the time out and formulate an affirmation as a solution. You'll find yourself calmer, more confident and feeling like you have your personal power back! An affirmation for personal power and protection can be "I am now surrounded with Peace & Harmony in every aspect of my Life Experience".  This could set up great vibrational energy for you if you are about to go into a meeting where you feel confronted, or expect confrontation.

I hope you'll enjoy the affirmations and formulate your very own, specific ones to help you stay on track this year. It is something I work with and weave into the consultations as part of the service for a Holistic Feng Shui Assessment and Home Health Check. Our homes are not free-standing structures unaffected by our emotions. These places we inhabit breathe and love us back when we support them with great quality energy :) Placing affirmations into a space can dramatically affect the occupant's behaviour, and it's as easy as saying them quietly while you clean, or when you perform a Space Clearing Ceremony, or even just in your Mind and projecting them into the space so they sink and vapourise into the area. It is all part of the power within our intentions; that unseen and often untapped resource just waiting there to support YOU and your endeavours.

Blessings for awakening your intentions into their full power!

'One Quiet Moment' - a blessing for 2016

Have been thinking of the year to come, of the hectic feelings this end-of-year time can bring, and upon reflection (in a rare quiet moment) I had this gem pop into my Mind...

"When sublime Peace is achieved, the core state of Consciousness can unlock all manner of potential..."

Sublime Peace is something that occurs without intention, without method or prompting. It comes to you in the most unlikely of places sometimes. Within the tumult of an argument when you have the 'ping' of real insight/compassion/understanding. Within the maelstrom of social events when you find yourself truly observing with gratitude and clarity. Within the mundanity of everyday life as you clean up after your loved ones, and notice how much care you put into what you do.

Wishing you all the time to appreciate your innate magical Consciousness and to give it space to fill your Mind with the ideas for all manner of possibilities.

Blessings for a new year filled with Peace, Happiness and Harmony in perfect ways.

'Feng Shui and other influences we can't see' - Link to podcast and some musings...

Hello and happy June! Nearly halfway through the year and the winds of Winter curl around my ankles, chilling the back of my neck and reminding me that Solstice is nearly here. A time for reflection.

It was in February this year that I was invited to record an interview with Michelle House about the new Feng Shui Annual Influences and some other observations about the value of Feng Shui principles in everyday life. Time flies for sure because that only felt like it was last week!
Here is the link to the podcast for those of you who would like to listen...

What a transformative time 2015 is turning out to be. There is the opportunity this year to take hold of issues that have been circling and perhaps confronting or intimidating you. It's sort of like being baited for an argument which you may choose to engage in and learn from, or pass up and let it sail on by...you know, ah-la Captain Jack Sparrow like...  "I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by."

For me the question this year has been engaging in confrontation. I'm a non-combative person, very happy to be happy, so confrontation never comes naturally, however, I am learning that confrontation in itself need not be 'aggressive' at all, which is enlightening. Confrontation is the hallmark of Star 3 energy. It is pushy, aggressive, sometimes even damaging, yet I always look to both sides of the story. Why is Star 3 given this horrid reputation when in fact Star 3 is also the energy Influence of the East, and related to Health, Family and the igniting energy of nature? Surely this energy would be useful, helpful and positive too? Of course it is! :) It is all about Perception and the way we use it.

When presented with a confrontation person or issue I have been practising my skills of negotiation and also honing my response to intimidation. I feel it is a big personal growth leap for me to learn how to control fear and intimidating feelings so that I can protect myself from lowering my vibration, and succumbing to situations that spiral downwards and inwards negatively.

Peaceful repose brings effortless insight...

What I have been doing is using a technique that helps me to utilise my sense of empathy and to engage with someone intimidating as a 'real person' instead of being overwhelmed by their aggression and or confusion, and my confusion too... for it's often that confusion that translates as frustration and that can further inflame a hot tempered person. Our facial expressions send those signals, so I've been making myself more conscious of the messages my face sends to someone who is confronting me. What tends to happen is I might squint a bit, purse my lips or cock my head to one side. All very natural responses to being confused or confronted.
So instead I'm teaching myself to find a new response...
I relax, I breath, and then I literally 'open my face' to them and listen 'harder' ;). I ask myself quietly "What are they asking for? Can I give it to them? Can I help in this situation?"

And then I allow the event to unfold with expansive and compassionate energy. The more I listen and relax, the better the outcome, for both of us.

Emotions are like water; always in motion from one state to another. What we seek to do is not 'control' it, but rather encouraging its to flow in the most beneficial and positive direction.

Life is so quick nowadays, and it takes real consciousness to stop and hear people. We need to re-learn this skill on every level in our lives, from intimate moments with partners, to parenting behaviours with our children, interactions with co-workers and everyday occurrences with people.

Breathe. Stop. Relax and listen. Open dialogue with something like, "Ok, I hear that you are [angry/sad/upset/confused] about [situation/thing/need], and I can help by [doing/saying/being]. Is that right?" Getting the 'combatant' to be clear about their grievance or need is paramount to getting a situation resolved.

If you'd like to know more about this kind of communication technique you can visit this link here.

Happy Confrontations to you all and Blessings for peaceful resolutions.

Clean Water Projects to better health for any population :) (part of my Build a Bonfire article collection)

I've often given time and energy towards charity groups ensuring the health and well-being of populations at risk of disease. One thing I did stop doing is giving support to charities that have large scale immunisation schedules for these at risk populations. While I agree that there is a case for immunisation, I want it to be far, far less risky than at present for me to actually be a part of giving this kind of medical support to at risk communities.
But what's the alternative? How can we be of service to the global community and be responsible advocates of good health choices if we put our time, effort and money towards agendas that can potentially be harmful to the people we are hoping to help?

I did a little research on this a while ago and found myself at the World Health Organisation website...take a look at what I found...

"Vaccination has greatly reduced the burden of infectious diseases. Only clean water, also considered to be a basic human right, performs better..." WHO
This article from the WHO is just mind-blowing in its implications that the vaccine risks are getting 'better press' than the vaccine benefits... honestly never read such a load of cleverly veiled confessions of inadequacy... ;}

If today, for some awful reason, you and I were pressured by cirucumstance to enter a refugee camp, undergo weeks of trauma, nutrional deprivation, clean water deprivation and subsquent illness...would the first thing you want from a medical assitance operative be a shot in the arm full of potentially toxic chemical and biological soup? or perhaps you'd prefer them to spend some money on security, nutrition, sanitation and a clean water source...? Yeah ;[ ...and this is a very obscure ending to any 'argument' piece...
"We conclude that a comprehensive vaccination programme is a cornerstone of good public health and will reduce inequities and poverty."

Good clean water and food, plus effective and maintained sanitation systems, including good public health opportunities, is the way to good public health, and will have nothing to do with percieved social inequities including poverty. Its not just communities affected by war, political upheaval, drought, floods, or some other traumatic event, sometimes its just a community that has for some reason gradually lost their water supply due to intensive agriculture, or global climate change over the last three to five decades. Sometimes communities can be re-invigorated by spending less time and effort in the collection of water for daily survival. 'Charity:Water' are one organisation dedicated to this particular outline of service.
"Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Children are especially vulnerable, as their bodies aren't strong enough to fight diarrhea, dysentery and other illnesses.

90% of the 30,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions are in children under five years old. The WHO reports that over 3.6% of the global disease burden can be prevented simply by improving water supply, sanitation, and hygiene."

Learn about how to give a sustainable gift of clean water to a needy community somewhere in the world right now... http://www.charitywater.org/whywater/
I don't get anything from supporting them except the satisfaction that my monetary assistance is being put to great use for a simple commodity that I take for granted in my country. Its also a commodity that ensures that with good nutrition I can help to keep my family disease free and living a life full of infinite potential.

At my home I've changed the way I use water. Since the introduction of flouridated water in my municipal supply I changed to drinking and cooking using pure spring water.  Then I've been able to find a flouride filter and can now enjoy the tap water without a load of chemicals in it, plus the filter also gets out other nasties that communities at risk deal with all the time. It again makes me grateful for the place I live in ;) I have access to help and products that other women looking after their babies do not have. And I think this is where I feel the need to assist. Feeling empathy for that mother somewhere in the world who is just simply wanting to care for her family, and she has this overwhelming challenge to overcome,...yet I can walk down my hallway and turn a tap on in my kitchen. It hits me in the heart for these families, and it takes so little to be a part of the solution! :)

Be aware that the environment of your biology, both internal and external, plays a part in the overall Harmony your life can emit and receive <3 Blessings!

Tuning into Love - 032 Feeling the LOVE

Looking at everything, "everything", through your heart, as if it had eyes, is a way of staying with that purpose of living in a state of Love and Gratitude. xxx :)

"My emotions become my reality"

"I choose to feel Love and Gratitude"

"My Life is filled with Beautiful Blessings"

It's SO very important during these fast paced times to step away from 'drama' in daily life, and focus upon everything that there IS to be grateful for. I make a mental game of this kind of thing very often, as its needed with home educating three children and having a baby to look after,...and,...and, well, all that other stuff that comes with modern life.

I am grateful for....
* living in a country that is not at war
* a house without a leaky roof
* a garden of green to look at and walk in
* being part of a family that speaks to one another
* my health and fertility
* hugging my children
* quiet cups of tea with my husband and partner in Life :)
* visiting places of beauty
* remembering to breathe DEEPLY

Its very easy to go on and on and on once you start! Give it a go today :}

Tuning into Love 030 - Holistic Therapies WORK! *for* you

A stressful few days have just passed. My father has been hospitalised after weeks of immobility and underwent surgery last night. The evening before he was in Emergency, and my son was battling a night of a particularly severe hayfever attack. Last night as my thoughts were with my Dad having a double operation, my youngest daughter began to purge...all night. So that's two nights of no sleep.

How am I getting through this?

Firstly I know its because I have good support, and that I know when to stop, take a moment to contemplate, and retrieve a semblance of perspective to re-align and move back to a balance point. Without this 'learned behaviour' I don't think I'd have such clarity right now.

The other things are:
Bach Flowers Rescue Remedy (as often as I could, whenever, wherever)
Calm Me Aromatherapy Blend (on the wrists and temple pulse points....bliss)
Deep Green alkaliser and In-Liven superfood probiotic (stress heavily depletes the body of vital nutrients and an appetite too...these have been my 'food' for the last few days)
Meditation
Barefoot walking on the grass
Hugging my children and my partner

There's been moments of overwhelm, the tears have flowed and the Mind has traveled to places that aren't pleasant, but I've come back. I trust that we 'know' when things aren't right, and through all of this turmoil I know that I'm doing all the right things, that I am Divinely Loved and that all I need do is ask for assistance and it is given. So I've asked, and thanked, and loved and adored my Divine guides and helpers and all things are working out Perfectly.

My dear ol' Dad a few months ago with my youngest daughter...trustingly asleep in strong arms :)
My son is responding to all the natural remedy treatments we are currently 'doing', and is blissfully sleeping through his immune system strengthening. He'll take a few days to kick this but I know he'll conquer it. My daughter woke up this morning and was bright as a button, temperature gone, and asking for food. In both cases it did not occur to me they would need a doctor, because I know that the care I am attending them with is exactly the kind of care they would experience under 'medical attention'. The key here is focused attention. Trust and Action together ;) yah?

I'm now looking forward to helping my Dad in recovery and rehabilitation from his operation and the weeks he has spent being immobile. This I too trust will work through in Perfect Timing for him and for us too.

Bright Blessings for Beautiful Awareness

Tuning into Love - 029 Solutions

Nothing like a particularly trying morning to put into perspective 'how' you cope or 'deal' with situations when they arise.

Take today for example. I wake up, check the email after a quiet breakfast, and am greeted with a notice that a quite large payment has been 'automatically' taken out of my account as part of a website hosting agreement I don't remember making...not a great start...
I contact the company to be met with the startling truth that 'yes, apparently you have this charge and it is correct'. Eeeeeks! I can't remember this being in the fine print but of course...its Mercury Retro at the moment, so I'm half smirking to myself, the other half is slightly panicking about the size of this unexpected payment...

For a while now I have been considering revamping the HTC website so that it flows with where I am now in Life, Biz and Love...and you know, only last night I had been trialling things out in my head..."maybe I should just cut it all away and start again", "maybe it would be good to have some collaboration with the design", "maybe I can just chuck it all in and use the blog for a while till I figure out what to do...", and then I wake up to this 'opportunity' :) Gotta love it eh?

For a little while I'm in 'worry mode'. 'ooooh all that work and effort' in the current website....'oh dear, what a lot of work to put it altogether again...' etc etc etc. And then I look at the screen again, with the annoying and condescending 'e-assistant' response to my harried questions. I breathe. I take it all in and think, 'well actually, this is what I've been requesting, a whole new opportunity to start again'.

No idea where this pic comes from (had it for years) but I love the energy of Ammonites...they are said to hold ancient earth, sea and star knowledge within their spiral manifestation...

So today I Tune into Love with the realisation that I have beautiful opportunities coming my way with only a small amount of prompting. And, that it's not about figuring out the problems or rising to the challenges that come along, but for me it is about sitting back and surveying the many solutions that arise from the opportunities that present themselves for my perusal.

Tuning into Love - 028 Hello Beautiful Moon

How very apt that the T i L blogpost for 'moon-love' is number 28? :)) Synchronicity so rocks eh? :)

Yes, my moon love is no secret. I've spent many a night gazing up and going cross-eyed getting the right look at this pearly beauty way up high, but, the reason for this post is the recent HUGE moon we had with the partial eclipse. Just golden and gorgeous hanging low on the horizon, big enough to stop traffic and make one gasp at the first glimpse!

I love the energy of the full moon most times. It is a keen indicator of my own Balance in Life when I can sit peacefully and be within my Mind on full moon, whereas other times, something has rocked the boat and I feel pressure. I guess it is all about releasing the stranglehold on things and just letting it all be. Be good. Be bad. Be indifferent. Apathy? no, just acceptance :) Very Zen... ;]

Tuning into Love 027 - 11 Seconds of Silence

Our lives seem to be getting busier and busier. How do we make time for our Self? You know, that person who lives within you, supporting all your conscious thoughts, waiting for dreamtime so they can come out and play?

What about giving that person a little respect and assistance to help YOU out during the rush and pull of everyday life? :)

11 seconds of silence is something I've been tuning into regularly to avoid the slope downwards into distress, frustration or 'losing it'. Its simple.

Move away from what you are doing.
It could be the computer. It might be looking after children or someone you care for. It might be getting angry at an inanimate object for not working properly (I do this with kitchen utensils all the time...sad, but true) or at a telemarketer who repeatedly won't take the hint and stop talking....whatever it is, leave it alone, put it down, wait until you can move away peacefully, whatever....just get to your own space.

Begin with a breath in. Release. Again. Release.

In your Mind visualise the numeral 1. Allow it to glow, give it blossoms, or lights, or symbols. Enjoy what you see behind your eyes.
Move to the numeral 2, and give it the same treatment.
Again, on to the numeral 3, and so on. Go all the way to 11 and stop.
Breath again. And Release. Breathe Again. And Release.

How does that feel now... :) ?

Tuning into Love 026 - 'Its the simple things in life that make you Happy'

GratitudeToday, my children are arguing over what to play before we leave the house to visit family.
Today, I have changed the sheets on my bed and am looking forward to sliding into bed tonight with that 'clean sheet sensation' I remember from childhood.
Today, I've had a celery, apple, pomegranate, flaxseed oil and superfood powder smoothie for breakfast.
Today, the dining table is tidied, with a new white tablecloth and doiley.

There's not much to this Gratitude mindset. Its as easy as looking around to find that I live in a country with no war. To see that my home is comfortable, secure, pleasing and provides my family with a sense of place.

The simplest things in my life bring me the greatest joys, and the most significant expressions of progression (some of you may know these as 'challenges' ;] ). My home is a constant source of expression, solution-finding exercises, and sanctuary.

What's your simple joy?

"I embrace my child's unique expression"

"I gather the Love and Joy, Safety and Happiness, that my Home offers me"

"I am Grateful for the Peace around Me"

Love and Blessings

PS: I love the idea of a Gratitude Book, but think that it would be a marvellous expression of a life's appreciation to assemble over a period of time. Wouldn't you love to receive a Gratitude Book about YOU from birth to adulthood that your parents put together? or one about the first year of marriage/partnership compiled by you and your partner? There are any number of ways you could 'time frame' your Gratitude Book, ... good project huh?

Tuning into Love 025 - "So far..."

Wow, this year has certainly begun with its full share of Destruction from the Star 7 energy. We are all feeling the effects of shock, sorrow, displacement and sadness, but also there is immense hope, beautiful energy of compassion and kindness that is emanating from all of the events in the past two months. Humans are realising that we are here for each other. Out of all of this pain comes something as dazzling as human love. And for those of us who are still raw and bruised within the grip of grief, or experiencing first hand the grief of someone we care for, we can take heart that in time the shock eases, the pain eases, and the memories of the best times with those now lost, or times past, bloom soft and soothing.

"I now invite Beautiful Memories to my Mind"

Star 7 is the Ruling Influence for 2011 to Feb 2012, and its name is 'The Spirit of Destruction', with associations of Pleasure, Destruction, Joyousness and Speech. It has the energy of 'hidden messages' because the ancient way to write its name using a Trigram (three lined drawing) looked like a mouth speaking, and of its other association with the landscape of a marsh...shallow water (emotions on the surface) and unstable earth below. It is compelling for me as a student of Flying Stars Feng Shui to study the correlation of events this year with the Ruling Influence associations. Floods that have moved over our landscape and earthquakes that have rocked the stability of our world. While it is great to be forewarned of possible misfortune, it is quite difficult to predict what our planet will go through with pinpoint accuracy, and to do so can systematically destroy a flow and beauty to Life itself.

"I am Me because of the happenings of my Life"

For now, the emphasis is on looking to support those in need. If we are not physically close we can help energetically, by performing meditations, quiet contemplative moments sharing our Heart energy with anyone in need. If we are physically close we can open our homes, and our hearts to people who need comfort and sustenance. Its not about how much money you can or cannot donate, the currency of Love and Understanding, of really being there for someone, far exceeds any financial assistance we could offer. And yes, that means putting up with the question of 'why me', or patiently accepting that the natural instinct is to find someone to 'blame'. If you are providing assistance as a carer or counselor, you too are in need of support. A combination of therapies like 'time out' in silence, regular doses of Rescue Remedy (Bach Flower Essences) and soothing aromatherapy like Rosewood and Chamomile to encourage good sleep will help you cope with the emotional onslaught.

Destruction is always a catalytic thing. It brings about change and new growth. People find within the experience of Loss, emotions never felt, and reserves of strength they've never tapped before. With the event of Solstice 2012 coming up, there is much for the human race to consider. As an observer of planetary and galactic energy I see there is a powerful shift taking place during the last decade, it has been building and building from one massive display of action and emotion to another, each one changing the consciousness of our societies. The culmination of it all is something I trust the powerful force of Love that guides this reality has in order.

"We are all Infinitely Powerful and Loved"

So far, we have come, and so far we are here, and so far, we are able to provide relief, help, comfort, love and understanding for those who need it. So far. We have come SO far and wherever we are now, we will get 'there' from 'here'. Exactly where we are Now.

Tuning into Love 024 - 'Watching the Gratitude grow'

Many years ago, I discovered that I felt really good when I loved where I was, instead of wanting to be somewhere else. I discovered that this feeling of being grateful for what I had made me feel wealthy, contented and happy. I felt 'good'. I didn't know at the time that I was tapping into any kind of 'secret' way of thinking that provided success and good health, I just noticed that it helped get me through some very tough life challenges, and situations that were 'bringing me down' ;)

With the rise in interest created by using concepts of 'being in the Now', we find that more and more focus is put on being or feeling grateful for what we have, even if what we have is only a few things left over from some disastrous occurrence. After a tragic happening in my own life I remember distinctly that focusing on what I still had helped me get through the worst of the pain and helped my recovery. Something as simple as realising that I could still walk (shakily) was liberating, because I knew I would get stronger and stronger, and walk easily again one day. And I do now.

I see so many websites and businesses now that focus upon Gratitude as a powerful force of Life. The Law of Attraction works with, or in tandem with, many other Universal Laws, but especially works well with Gratitude. And it doesn't have to be overtly difficult to find things to be grateful for.
I find that closing my eyes and requesting beautiful memories brings up feelings of Gratitude.

Remembering the sound of my Grandmother's chiming clock, and the smell of her house, and the carved woodwork in the doorways of her house. This memory fills me with Gratitude for the time I spent with her in my childhood; the endless pots of tea, the pikelets and jam :) I was loved and adored, and I had a place that I was welcomed into, and at that moment in my life I belonged there, completely. That's something I am truly grateful to have a memory of, because I use it whenever I feel like I am in the flux of Life, and without an anchor...I use these kinds of memories as my anchors.

"I am Loved and Treasured in all Time and Space"
"My Existence has Infinite Purpose"
"I am held softly in the arms of Grace"

Acknowledging my many wealths makes them to Grow even more. Have a look around, there is so much to be grateful for.

What are some of my simple joys?
Teacup print Pyjamas
Chatting, and the sound teacups make when in use
Comfortable sheets
Healthy children
The need to ask "?"
Blue sky, and clouds, and rain, and grass
Sunset
Plants in my garden that I can eat
Almonds in my pantry and Blueberries in my fridge
The desire to 'help', 'assist', 'serve'
Coconut Oil (SO MANY uses...)
Knowing that nothing really needs to be done quickly
Being taught to breathe out slowly when I stretch

...and now my Mind is just chugging away like a locomotive, accessing 'this and this' that I am grateful for, that I find joy and pleasure in...amazing to experience the sparkliness of the human Mind in its happiest state! :))
So good to sit back, and watch the Gratitude grow ;)

Tuning into Love 023 - 'What is your treat?"

Since when does giving yourself a 'treat' equal piling up with processed sugar and gunk?
"I can't give that up! its my Treat!!"
I hear this when I talk about aiming for good health and making serious but life altering changes to the way we live. The whole concept of what 'normal food', normal life, happiness, fulfillment, is, is totally skewed. The concept of what a Treat is, is totally skewed.

A treat to me is when I get a meditation done without being interrupted by a little person needing help to go to the toilet. A treat to me is getting a half box of gorgeous smelling Mangos from my Brother, and then a box of Cherries too, and a half box of Lychees as well! What a treat! A treat to me is finding a place in myself that is quiet and responsive enough to help my children past an emotional issue. A treat to me is the smile on my partner's face and the twinkle in his eye when he is relaxed. A treat to me is finding moments of Peace.

A treat is not a pastry and cafe coffee. It's a bad food choice. Especially if you are doing this each week or each day as 'your treat'.
A treat is not ice cream. That's non-nutrition, heavy and undesirable to the human metabolism.
A treat is not a day out trolling through shops, mindlessly looking at consumables. That's a waste of time and energy.

Tuning into what I LOVE helps me in making good choices about my Treats. I love treating myself to the things that truly nourish me. I LOVE that I've made the connections in life that have brought me great teachers. I LOVE that I am still learning and still falling over at times...it gives me Perspective on the whole situation facing humanity. We aren't here to make treats for ourselves, they are already in place for us to enjoy.

"I LOVE my simple pleasures"
"I am provided for and Loved in so many different ways"

Beautiful Blessings for being able to acknowledge real blessings, small mercies and miracles.

Tuning into Love - 022 'It's certainly OK to freak out now and again...'

...especially if you are able to take perspective of the situation by recognising your behaviour as 'freaking out'.

It's not as if this world we live in doesn't give us ample opportunities to be completely shocked, amazed, dazed and confused at any moment during a day or a week or a month. By the end of the year we may truthfully and justifiably be asking "Has the whole world gone insane?", to which will come the hearty reply, "Yes!-we-are-all-utterly-mad!!"

Losing control can sometimes be cathartic. It can establish a connection to behavioural patterns from our parents, guardians or other authority figures from our childhood, and help us acknowledge a 'learned response' that may or may not be beneficial. Consider how the loss of control made you feel. Did it encourage an energy flow that felt like 'release' or 'aggression'? If it was the latter then of course its time to identify another way of handling stressful situations, or avoiding them altogether....

If it was a 'release' that you received then perhaps observe whether you are 'holding on too tight' to the control of a situation. Maybe there is a need for you to be able to loosen your grip, take a step back and survey what's going on, instead of trying to negotiate every single twist and turn of action taking place.

"I tune into Love by letting go and trusting the flow of my Life"
"I consent to letting others live their own lives"
"I always send Love out into the world and receive it back"

Take the time to apologise or explain yourself if you need to. Don't carry around any guilt about exploding emotionally,...we are all living in times of trial, but also, don't expect other people to put up with repeated displays of excessive emotional tides. Its just not fair to you or them.
Tune in to the Love that surrounds you.
Find the connections that bring you back to the best person you are, and then give 'em a big hug. You deserve it ;)

Ample quantities of Rescue Remedy also help immensely...

Tuning into Love 021 - 'The view from up here'

At times life can bring us some enormous challenges. At times, we can feel completely overwhelmed with obligation, commitments and responsibilities. And at times our Perspective is the thing that is ultimately challenged. Through all of these things we can remember that those times are but 'episodes' in our normal life...and that drama and trauma, sadness and grief are fleeting occurrences.

You know when someone says 'I fell into Depression' or 'I feel really down'? They are literally describing their Energy Signature and what their aura, or energetic vibration, is going through. Personal energy sinks when we are faced with problems and obstacles, difficult situations or people, its just what happens. The actual event or person or place is dragging on our energy, and it weighs us down, below our normal 'vantage point' of contemplation and examination of any situation. When we are 'down' we can never see the whole picture, we become enclosed in the drama or sadness of the occurrence taking place.

When we exhibit recovery a person may say 'I feel on top of the world now!' or 'I feel like a weight has been lifted from me'. The sensation can be one of immense relief and sometimes a physical 'lightening' or floating feeling comes over us. It's Happiness, Peace, Gratitude...all of those things wrapped up and woven into a vibration that is what Life is meant to be. The solution to unhappiness in any form is gaining the best vantage point for your personal perspective. Training your Mind to accept the truth of a situation, instead of the panic story it can sometimes tell you, can be one of the most empowering experiences you can achieve in human form!

Imagine walking down a long hallway in darkness, and then finding the light switch. You look back at all the perceived obstacles you thought were there, all the fears of tripping over something in the dark, or being attacked by some invisible assailant, only to see the way was all clear anyway, and you didn't have anything to fear in the first place. Perception is Everything ;)

I know from personal experience that when we are 'in a ditch' we don't see right. The clarity of our thoughts is skewed, our Heart is bruised, our Mind panics. I spent episodes of Life not so much in a 'hole', but more like I spent years mining through solid rock, not seeing that the tunnel I was creating was not a solution, it wasn't a 'way out' of the mess I was in; it was forward in some respects, but it wasn't easy, it wasn't pleasant, and it didn't make me happy...it just exhausted me more and more as I dug further and further under the mountain. Getting out of it took a decision that my previous choices were incorrect. I had to backtrack and find where I'd taken a wrong turn,.... and then it appeared. The Way Out. And it was upwards. Back on the surface the view cleared, a way appeared, I continued climbing up, up, up. I have a clear vision of me climbing trees and viewing the world as if I was perched high above the goings on below me. Confident that the view from here was the real deal.
.
Solstice is a time of reflection and also a time of planning. Its a 'pivot point' for our planet, and we can use it's Energy Signature to gain better perspective on any of our perceived current challenges.

"I tune into Love with contemplation on Gratitude"
"I know that only Happiness is enduring"
"I am strong, loved, and protected always"

Beautiful Solstice Blessings of Lightness and Clarity for all who are feeling a little overwhelmed at this time of year. Time passes forward for us in this dimension, and we can rely on it to fade pain into the Past, bring in new energy, new hope, new Life and new connections to Love in many forms.

Light and Peace

Tuning into Love - 020 'Listening to the Light'

One of the most amazing things I've read in the last 5 years was a paper published about the human brain, and how light is created from the tiny electrical charges that come from minute hairs (cilia) in the canals of our brains. 'Mindblowing' stuff for sure. The paper was called 'The Divine Light of Consciousness' and apart from a heap of heavy bioscience references that went way beyond my attention, it described the rush of brain fluid through these canals that moved the cilia and created an electrical charge, which is Light.  The paper went on to discuss that as Light carries with it a frequency, these movements of cilia could in actuality be messages in a language only the brain understands. The question of the whole paper seemed to be whether we could equate these light frequencies to messages from the God Mind. I loved it.

I loved it because I often find myself with a certain phrase or word running through my Mind for a set of time. Could be days, or hours, could be a whole month or more; and I smile at the correlation it usually has to world events or momentous events in my own life. (I've really got to start recording this more directly when it occurs...) Could this be a set of Divine Messages sent to guide or reassure me in this Life? I like to think so.

"I tune into and accept Divine Love's assistance"
"I know I am deeply cared for"

This last month has been all about 'propulsion'. Specifically the words 'hydraulic' and 'pneumatic'. Water and Air, very elemental. I love the idea that things are being moved with that dramatic force associated with hydraulics and pneumatics, where the ability of humans is enhanced by the simple use of these available resources. That soft 'shhhhhh' of air or 'whooosh' of water and the immense weight it can help us lift and move. Feel it too? :)

Blessings
