Tuning into Love - 022 'It's certainly OK to freak out now and again...'

...especially if you are able to take perspective of the situation by recognising your behaviour as 'freaking out'.

It's not as if this world we live in doesn't give us ample opportunities to be completely shocked, amazed, dazed and confused at any moment during a day or a week or a month. By the end of the year we may truthfully and justifiably be asking "Has the whole world gone insane?", to which will come the hearty reply, "Yes!-we-are-all-utterly-mad!!"

Losing control can sometimes be cathartic. It can establish a connection to behavioural patterns from our parents, guardians or other authority figures from our childhood, and help us acknowledge a 'learned response' that may or may not be beneficial. Consider how the loss of control made you feel. Did it encourage an energy flow that felt like 'release' or 'aggression'? If it was the latter then of course its time to identify another way of handling stressful situations, or avoiding them altogether....

If it was a 'release' that you received then perhaps observe whether you are 'holding on too tight' to the control of a situation. Maybe there is a need for you to be able to loosen your grip, take a step back and survey what's going on, instead of trying to negotiate every single twist and turn of action taking place.

"I tune into Love by letting go and trusting the flow of my Life"
"I consent to letting others live their own lives"
"I always send Love out into the world and receive it back"

Take the time to apologise or explain yourself if you need to. Don't carry around any guilt about exploding emotionally,...we are all living in times of trial, but also, don't expect other people to put up with repeated displays of excessive emotional tides. Its just not fair to you or them.
Tune in to the Love that surrounds you.
Find the connections that bring you back to the best person you are, and then give 'em a big hug. You deserve it ;)

Ample quantities of Rescue Remedy also help immensely...
