Annual Influences 2017 - Feng Shui Forecast

NOW is the time to do a sequence of cleaning that starts at your front door, and moves through the Ming Tang (the area outside and inside of your main entrance) to your living, working and relaxing spaces.


The energy is on the way OUT, and is supported by the Waning Moon (reducing) so it's perfect time to do a house blessings, space clearing ceremony or thorough de-cluttering....or all three! Feng Shui New Year is on the New Moon of the 28th January, when the Annual Influences align themselves into their new directional sector for the next 12 months. Clearing and cleansing invites in the best possible aspect of each energy influence to support, nourish and encourage success in all endeavours.

Be aware that in the South we will see the arrival of the Star 5 of Pure Potential, relating to the chaos of the Void. Remove overly Fire Element representations from this area, and repair anything broken, clean up anything that is unsightly or ugly. Burn some sacred oils, resins or incense here and keep it quiet and calm.

In the NW the Annual Star 2 can manifest ill-health and needs the Salt Water Cure in place as well as removing overly Fire Element representations and generally clearing and cleansing the space inside and outside your property.


The Annual Wealth Star 8 is locating into the EAST this year and so it is very important to have this area ready to welcome the energy for wealth opportunities. 5 things to do before Feng Shui New Year 2016

Each new year is an opportunity to set out goals and plan for success. But what can you do to ensure your plans have the best possible energy to jump start your endeavours?

However, here are five things you will need to know for this feng shui year:

The central area of your home needs to be de-cluttered, cleaned and have the highest possible energy instilled into it before February 8th. If there is anything broken or unsightly get it repaired or aesthetically fixed in order to invite in the beauty of Star 2 energy and not falter with health problems relating to the digestive system. Add Metal Element representations in colour, shape and sound. There are lots of ideas in the AIG 2016, but generally, bringing in metal sculptures or round metal bowl for decoration will help.
Add a Salt Water Cure to the central area of your home or business to clean the atmosphere and utilise a powerful elemental pairing to keep Star 2 at heel.
Play metallic sounding music to soothe the energy layer. Piano music, temple gongs, or beautiful chimes.
Remove Fire Element representations and do not have running water features in this area.

Clean the area outside the front of your home with meticulous care and attention before February 8th.
Buy a new doormat if yours is a little shabby. Add a handful of rock salt underneath your doormat to purify the area. Place a mantra for the year under the doormat as well to instill the area with high quality energy...something like, "Great happiness, health, protection and wealth enters this Home now" or "This Home is divinely protected and everyone who lives within its walls are cared for with Grace".

The direction to avoid facing when working for long periods or for important occassions is North. This is the Three Sha or Three Killings influence which can effectively drain your life of health, wealth and harmony very quickly, even if your 'feng shui' in the building is good...

The direction to avoid facing for very important occassions is WSW. This is the Grand Duke or Tai Sui influence which you must have your back to in order to receive it's support. Facing it means 'challenge' and can lead to problems occurring 'en-mass'. Do not 'break the ground' with earthworks or plumbing and drainage digging in the WSW or the opposite slice of the ENE as this can lead to big problems occurring. If you have to dig, place a metal wind chime to produce the Sound of Metal remedy, between the house or building and the digging taking place. If possible do not live in the house or work in the building while work is going on.

Add Metal Element to the Northeast this year to promote a smooth flow to Life and a good mindset. There is a great feng shui cure to place a clean metal bowl outside the area affected by the Star 5 influence (this year it is the NE) and fill it with clean water regularly. But if you can't do this because it is an inaccessible area of your property, or just not practical because of pets, then you can hang a metal wind chime in the area to produce the Sound of Metal cure, also potent and pleasing.

Infinite possibilities begin with you

It is too easy to shift blame and anger onto someone else, something else...to look to the future for a cure or the past for an excuse. Looking here and now with no shame, no blame and no fear of retribution is a healing experience.

Kindness to yourself begins with kindness to others. Learning to unravel the occurrences and happenings with objectivity, mixed with a healthy dose of compassion for yourself and for those involved, will move mountains.

Clear the way...

"Clear the way and let it come to you."

When energy is blocked it cannot find a path to follow, and it festers, re-hashing the layer of energy until it is spent. You've heard of 'Groundhog Day' yes? Or being 'stuck in a loop'? Recycling is great for metal, wood, plastic and paper...but not so much for you and your life's journey...

If you hear yourself saying phrases like,.."I really hate it when this happens" ..."Why is bad stuff always happening to me/us?"... "I can't see a way out of this situation"... "It feels as if the world is against me", or similar, then you are receiving a message loud and clear that your current life situation is in need of change.

Comfortable change, when attained, is a beautiful journey of discovery, achievement and enjoyment. The simple and often misunderstood act of 'change' is all about inviting in a new set of possibilities, opening yourself to new potentials by establishing a new grid of energy in your home, mind, heart, life and more.

When energy flow (qi flow) is nourished with easy, meandering avenues, it will naturally become creative, alive and dynamic.

The outer cycle of energy is normal, and natural, and nourishing...this is feng shui theory describing the flow of Qi.
The Elements represent a 'type of energy' not only the material form.

How do we apply this idea into everyday life?

Through our thought processes being given new and nourishing ways to solve problems, perceive issues and attain prowess. (meditation, self-improvement literature and courses)

Through our food and liquid intake we can drastically change our body's ability to process toxins and nourishment as well. We can change the energy layer of physical health within days if proper qi flow options are taken.

Through our involvement with social interactions and entertainment we can assist both thought and physical qi flow.

Through our intimate relationships we can heighten the spiritual heart connections we have with our beliefs and loved ones.

Through respecting our finances and observing with gratitude the current living conditions we are immersed in, we can build a new sense of stability and security to support wealth opportunities.

Long ago I wrote an article about 'shaking up the Grid', which was a similar piece, relating the connection between our energy layers and our lifestyle. If the grid is changed, that is, the current interlocking layers are moved, refreshed, removed and re-instigated with the highest possible energy flow, then our life will be refreshed with healthy new qi flow, and healthy new occurrences will manifest.

Today, think about two things you want to change or need to change, and write down options for making these things change for the better. Two small steps today that you can put into practice for one month.

Carpe Diem (of sorts) for the new year to come.

Space Clear for the New Year! and a sneak peek at the Feng Shui of 2016

I'm writing up the very last parts of interpretation for the 2016 Monthly Forecasts over the next couple of days ... here's a snippet from the 'Annual Influences Guide Sector Forecast' for the Centre Palace (or the very central area of your home or business building)...

"Centre ~ The Pure Potential offered by the Earth Star 5 has been calmed by the Period Star 8 bringing a sense of ‘pause & reflect’ to all our lifestyle choices. It has opened up a feeling that life might be better lived at a slower pace in general, and our growing awareness of ‘busyness’ in daily life that sucks away contentment, appreciation and gratitude. In 2016 the Earth Star 2; Mother symbology, the energy of nurturing, connections and relationships; is a harmonious link in this triple Earth Star combination. Very grounding. Very stabilizing, and for those who are in flux it will serve as a portal to Health and Harmony objectives. It has the ability, if tapped into, to transform a scattered life into something that is stable, responsible and calm. With the tremendous upheaval we see in many parts of the world, we can take every action to make our homes into havens, our businesses into vehicles for change, and our Life Experience one of real gratitude for the opportunities that present.

In Flying Stars, the combination of an 8 Star and a 2 Star is interpreted as being good for property or land. It can present opportunities that may consolidate real estate investments, or have stabilizing effects upon real estate matters. Conversely, it can put things into a ‘holding pattern’ as the energy of Star 8 slows things down naturally. Regardless of your personal real estate situation, it is a year to put energy towards beautifying, cleansing and enjoying the landscape that your home and business dwells in. This is where rich rewards come from.

Because we have the underlying energy influence of Star 8 within this combination we are able to utilize supportive Elemental Balancing and give this energy some true ‘gravity’. Add a large statue, or sculpture that is either tangibly heavy and rock-like. If it is cubic or rectangular and in the colours of ochre-yellow to soil brown it will also be elementally supportive. However, no running water, and if ill-health is a recurring issue during February, (particularly take notice of digestive issues) place a Salt Water Cure or other Metal Remedy into this central area of the building. Clear away anything unsightly or neglected and repair anything in this area that is damaged or broken."

Feng Shui New Year is not until the beginning of February 2016 so you have more than a month to prepare your spaces! After this powerful Full Moon just gone, it is a PERFECT time to reboot your living and working spaces with a physical clean out and clean up, cleansing ceremony and invitation for all good things to come your way.

'One Quiet Moment' - a blessing for 2016

Have been thinking of the year to come, of the hectic feelings this end-of-year time can bring, and upon reflection (in a rare quiet moment) I had this gem pop into my Mind...

"When sublime Peace is achieved, the core state of Consciousness can unlock all manner of potential..."

Sublime Peace is something that occurs without intention, without method or prompting. It comes to you in the most unlikely of places sometimes. Within the tumult of an argument when you have the 'ping' of real insight/compassion/understanding. Within the maelstrom of social events when you find yourself truly observing with gratitude and clarity. Within the mundanity of everyday life as you clean up after your loved ones, and notice how much care you put into what you do.

Wishing you all the time to appreciate your innate magical Consciousness and to give it space to fill your Mind with the ideas for all manner of possibilities.

Blessings for a new year filled with Peace, Happiness and Harmony in perfect ways.

'Rich Living' - a life that is rich with wealth of Love, Purpose, Friendship and Happiness

Today I spent a lovely hour speaking with Michelle House. Michelle runs an excellent program called 'Rich Living' to help people budget and plan for a life that feels abundant, in control and rewarding. In her own words...

It's from the page 'about me'. I like to think that we can be kind to ourselves, and even if we have tipped over the edge and completely lost it, gone nuts, had a scream and a flail, we can still calm ourselves and look at any situation with renewed rationality and a sense of how to make it right again.

Here's a little of the introduction to this coming year's energy signature from the Annual Star 3, taken from the Annual Influences Guide 2015:

"This year the dominating energy will be one that is known for it’s competitive nature. That ‘go-getter’ attitude that in its highest form creates expansion and dramatic progression, yet in lower vibrations can elicit behaviour without scruples, conflict, argumentative dispositions and physical violence.
When challenge arises we can do several things to combat it...and I use the word ‘combat’ in its passive form, that being to defend oneself against retaliative behaviour that can inflict suffering on ourselves as well as others. Globally, retaliation has been the cause of many wars and social upheaval. It is the underlying discord created by ‘an eye for an eye’ philosophy, and the heart-breaking pain it causes humanity.
So this energy potential can be subtly dismantled with the opposite of conflict; compassion. When we give compassionate attention to conflictive or contentious occurrences, we see that each side is lead into conversation. Each side is given voice, and validation and in this effort, reconciliation can be achieved."

Clearing up the SE is a great way to begin the New Year, because it means you're usually 'in time' for a tidy space to invite in new Wealth energy to the Abundance sector of the SE before the change over to the Feng Shui New Year  around the beginning of February. THIS year it isn't until the 19th of February, so you have LOADS of time to clear, sort and organise that space.

This year coming we have the Annual Star 2 residing in the SE, so it is a good time to remove anything 'unhealthy' from this space to ensure it has High Quality Qi Flow. Get a Salt Water Cure ready to install in this space if it is a bedroom, kitchen, dining or home office. This easy little energetic remedy promotes good quality atmosphere by instilling negative ions and removing positive ions. Happy New Year 2015

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new calender year. I wish you a bright and blessed 2015 full of laughter, fun and harmony.

It has been a while since I have nourished this blog, but this morning, I woke up with memories swirling through my mind about how and why I utilise Flying Stars Feng Shui in my life. The writing up of the Annual Influences Guide 2015 has been coming to a close for the last few weeks, and with the distraction of festivities at this time I've been unable to complete as much work as I felt like. It's been a 'trade-off' between being present for my family or getting other work completed. Being present for my family would always win, and so my mind has had the downtime to mull over the workings of the feng shui I've put in place for social occasions and to help things 'run smoothly'.

In my thoughts I was taken back to about a decade ago when I found that feng shui theory was becoming more and more interesting for me. I'd read all the tit-bits, magazine articles, and pop online to view some of the suggestions for more harmony in life from the well known experts. It was while I was 'searching for harmony' that I came across a lady in my own state who was practicing 'holistic feng shui'...incorporating various aspects of other holistic therapies into the feng shui theory. Buddhism had already caught my attention, and I had been practising meditation, as well as loving up some crystal therapy and aromatherapy too, so the idea of bringing all these things that were familiar to me already into the new avenue of feng shui really appealed!

Our homes are our haven and sanctuary. A place of protection and rejuvenation.

Studying at The Institute of Holistic Feng Shui opened up my life to what I'd like to call 'useable feng shui'...the sort of thing you could easily implement into your daily life and make changes that promoted good outcomes I could notice. This was important to me, because I feel that I am a natural skeptic ... I do need to experience something for it to mean something to me, and with holistic feng shui theory I ended up having many amazing experiences. Here's a list of just a few about the 'basics'...
* clearing away clutter and providing an inviting space in the Wealth Sector of the home (the SE area)  - we won $9000 on a lottery ticket
* clearing away clutter and organising the children's rooms, implementing mantra music and meditation time before bed - our children were able to go to sleep easily and learned to put themselves to sleep, plus, my connection to them improved because of this devoted time spent with them and for them
* using flower essences, music, mantra, incense and aromatherapy on a daily basis increased my level of peace and my ability to navigate through stressful situations when they arose
* cleansing on a physical level led me onto an awakening of my senses, and a higher level of consciousness - I became aware of a world I only remembered from my childhood.

But it wasn't until I'd studied 'Flying Stars Feng Shui' that I really understood the potency of the spaces we inhabit. Houses, to me, until then were just structures that could be affected by energy from the aesthetics, the people who lived there and 'where' they were in a suburb or city or place. However, Flying Stars was going to show me for real what a house's structure combined with it's history and it's construction date could manifest. As I said, I feel I am a born skeptic, so what eventuated was what I now know is 'universal synchronicity'...when forces align to show you something specific. It felt like my world was falling apart, but such things happen so you are able to build anew.

This is the grid of Planet Earth. Each  numeral represents an energy type. Each building has it's own grids for active and passive energy and there is also a grid for the Time Period it is built in as well. Each grid is overlayed and combinations form from this, which are then interpreted. All very simple really yes?

Flying Stars uses the construction date of a home similar to an astrologer would use someone's birth date. Along with the Facing reading (the compass degree the house aligns with), Flying Stars plots a chart of the house's energy grid, which is then interpreted using the same method as the I Ching. Complicated is an understatement when you are learning this method, but to grasp a sense of mastery with interpreting a chart is like seeing the planets for the first time. Magical stuff!

I had just moved house after completing my Advanced Holistic Feng Shui course where I had been introduced to FSFS. I realised that the house I'd moved into was called a 'Fan Yin' chart which is fine in the Time Period (a 20 year period) it is constructed in, but has the unfortunate potential for great disharmony when the next Time Period of 20 years clocks over. I had signed the lease already, and we were moving in just twelve months after the new Time Period had clocked over. To be honest, the possibility of 'problems' didn't seem real to me. Then a few months elapsed, and I began to see what was unfolding. Terror would have to be my first true reaction. Panic was second. Refusal the third. Solution finding with a positive attitude fourth. Complete arrogance of the situation fifth, and then finally the light dawned on what needed to be done. We had to move out. And quickly.

Fan Yin chart houses have the potential to make a 'hemorrhaging of harmony' occur. Health, finances, peace of mind, etc. When problems began to arise I implemented the strategies of the holistic feng shui I had been using at the other home. Things improved slightly, but then 'something else' would tumble into our lives and disrupt our harmony. We had gone through inexplicable ill health problems, traumatic states of mind, utter dis-satisfaction with pretty much every sector of our lives. The crux came when my husband lost the contract for his business' income and our savings went from substantial to being $11000 in debt when we finally moved out. We broke the lease and suffered an extraordinarily difficult 'exit' of that property to our new home. It didn't 'end' till we had finalised some complicated financial problems with the removalists. This symbolically ended our association with the 'Fan Yin House' and we experienced a bloom of good fortune in all levels of our Life Experience at our new place.

I think of what might have become of us as a family if I hadn't had the training and been given the valuable knowledge to perceive what was happening in our lives during that period of time. I'm in awe of the invisible energies that impact our daily lives and grateful to have been connected to the ancient observations of authentic Flying Stars Feng Shui!

What a trip down memory lane the last month has afforded me. A deeper appreciation for the path in life we can be placed on, and a sense of gratitude for all of life's experiences. Some of those dark clouds do contain the fears we are inclined to hide. Once out in the light they can be seen for what they are and then summarily banished, sorted through and rationalised.

Here's to more silver linings and sunshine days full of bright relief for everyone :)

March Forecast - Flying Stars Feng Shui

This month's Influences take charge around the 5th to the 7th...read up to know what's coming your way as April is going to be lit up for all kinds of reasons. March 20th to 22nd is the time of Equinox, which is when Earth is halfway on its orbit between Solstices, a turning point of seasons for all.  In the Northern Hemisphere it Spring Equinox, the time of Easter /  Ostara celebrations, and in the Southern Hemisphere it's Autumnal bliss...a cooling down, and Harvest celebrations. For me in the Tropics it is a time of extreme variations. I find the crunchy lawn fed by indescriminate downpours, and the gorgeously warm evenings correspond with increasingly chilly early mornings.

East: Input heavy doses of Metal representation of Shape, Colour and Sound into this area. If it is a bedroom, input the Salt Water Cure and Golden Gourd/Calabash. Take notice of stomach upsets and eat pure!

NE: Beware the possibility of being hurt by speech, or hurting others by what you say. This combination is also associated with being bitten by animals, and oddly enough I’ve had it occur over and over again where I get stung by wasps in this sector during the Monthly combination of 7,1 or 1,7. Egadz! Input Water element representations in Shape and Colour to balance out any potential misfortune.

SE: Be doubly efficient with paperwork needed by any Authority figures this month. Add Water to the SE in Shape and Colour to balance the energy of the Star 6.

Summary
This energy layer in the Centre is typically known to induce some high level partying...we have ‘The Clever and Indecent Imp’ Annual Star 4 meeting up with the chatty and social ‘Pleasure & Destruction’ Star 7...a recipe for going over the edge in some way. To ensure they play nicey-nicey add some Water and Fire element in equal parts, and be aware that partying / spending / indulging will have the potential to go overboard if left unchecked.

The Monthly Wealth Star is in the NW of Progression and will ease up on the Annual Star 5’s changeable and often challenging influence. A month to take time to ask for assistance on your Journey with a capital J… Be on the lookout for invaluable information coming your way or a source of mentorship that floats in all transient and hippie-like. Take advantage of the wisdoms as they come in clearly and serenely this month because we won’t feel this at peace with our ‘way’ again until December. 

Vocation sector North is being fuelled again … Wood Star 3 is now boosting the Fire Star 9...still ‘on show’ and this time your competitive edge may just get a little out of control. Think ‘bushfire’ but in a contained space. It’s never going to work out well unless you can control it. Add in lots of quiet time, but also bring in representations of Compassion and Patience, even if that means a desk mounted and framed quote, or a big statement wall-hanging. Fire coloured hues will work very very very well...

Does the way you work, 'work'? Feng Shui for home or corporate offices.

How often have you had a day where, for some unforeseen reason, your method of work had to change, and, magically, things got done and inspirations were found?
I've been assessing the workspaces of myself, my children, and clients for some time now and decided to put together a little collage to present my findings so far...

A - Too fast! Rushing. High expectations. Stress.
B - Analysing. Contemplative. Steady. Organised.
C - A Beautiful Mess. Comfortable Chaos. Getting things ‘done’.
D - Simple, easy, efficient. Enjoyment of task. Enjoyment of achieving.
E - The Creative Space. Visual representation of goals. Easygoing schedules. Known objectives.
F -  Low tech. Mind first. Verbal communication. Insights formed from collaboration.

So first up, the spaces weren't always representational of just one element. Quite often I found a duo or trio of collected traits. And there are many styles of course, but here are a few that I repeatedly see and talk to people about. Take a look and see if you can identify the way you work. Then have a think about your success with that style.

 

• Do you maintain a steady achievement of goals?

• Does success eventuate from your endeavours?

• Are you particularly stuck in an 'obstacle treadmill' or do you find solutions easily?

• Do you feel exhausted or uplifted by your work/job/tasks?

Once you've established if your work style is suitable for you by assessing your level of success with it, you can then view this collage below with the suggestions for balancing, supporting or remedying those styles using Five Element (Wu Xing) theory.

A - Type A is emulating the energy of Water & Wood Influences. To bring balance & slow down this overwhelming energy bring Fire element into their work spaces, use Brain Spider diagrams (Fire element in shape) to slow down and visually represent their plans and goals.

B - Type B is harnessing Earth Influence and will be supported with Fire and Wood in their environment to bring a steady flow of energy towards their personal energy. Add a little Metal energy to encourage flexibility and to avoid ‘stagnation’.

C - Type C are involved with the Water Influence and respond well to having Metal element energy implemented in their works pace. Metal gives them clean lines and colours to define their irregular working ways and spaces, yet allows for ‘malleability’ and creative urges.

D - Type D is emulating the energy of Metal...decisive, lineal, on purpose. This is best for all kinds of commerce business, and will be reflected in diligence to task. To support Metal give Earth energy like grounding tools (Earthing mats or grounding crystals to wear. Black Tourmaline, Jet, Black Obsidian) And Water element to encourage some spontaneity.

E - Type E is a combination of Earth and Water influences...an irregular yet grounded view of ideas manifesting. The irregular representation of ’boxes of information’. ‘Harness this with the implementation of Metal & Wood elements to create a space filled with Purpose Growth & Progression.

F - Type F is Metal and Fire influences in malleable ideas and explosions of creativity. It is a combination that produces a plethora of plans that might get out of control. Add Earth to the environment via representations of Nature (Mountains, beautiful rocks, stone statues) to ground the energy and encourage the encapsulation of ideas. 
Each style will suit different people and different industries better than others. Some of us will never change the way we work because we are happy with the way we do things. For others who are continually struggling with difficulties, the use of Five Element theory can manifest beautiful change and new success strategies.

What makes Harmony?

Contemplation is a Wealth to be indulged on a regular basis

October Feng Shui Forecast

October is a 'Double Up' Month where influences in each sector are the same as the Annual Influence. This means the energy is super potent, and for influences of High Qi its an opportunity to maximise favourable potentials. Here's what the AIG 2012 has to offer for October 2012...

Double up months provide us with the opportunity to ‘re-do’ our Feng Shui and get a bit of a Spring Clean thing happening with real gusto! The Wealth Star in the West—obviously do take advantage of it if you are in business...or even in the home setting make sure to bling it up with some gorgeous red gems of all sorts or the hues of reddish gems. Go the wine and deep fruit colours of plum and raspberry, cherry and deep peach...yummo. Love it up in the NE with the Beautiful Clarity obtainable from the Star 9 doubled up here. Tea parties with Tarot or similar will simply be the most awesome ever held in this area this month.

This month will see a dramatic or cathartic breakthrough in some form of Government structure, institutionalised Authority or the like. Scan the headlines and you'll see it manifest. THIS is the run up to 2013’s Pure Potential...so take notice of what’s going on.

 As you can see the chart is easy on the eye, no combinations to analyse in depth here, the message is pretty straightforward. What you need to be aware of is...

SE—Avoid the possible slump or ‘quick fix’ motives that Star 5 can make you think of in regards to all Abundance issues. You know what real wealth is right! Don’t be conned into any deceit involving your time, energy or money. Remedy with Metal in Shape, Colour and Sound.

North—Real potential to accumulate more work than you can handle leading to the inevitable ‘work makes me sick’ thing happening. Remedy with a) common-sense approach to your energy level management ie: saying ‘no’ sometimes, and b) Metal in Shape, Colour and Sound + the Salt Water Cure + a Calabash or Golden Gourd…

SW—OOOOH! Easy does it! Remedy with Pale Fire and lots and lots O LOVE.

The Star 5 is the cautionary number and as its located in the Wealth and Growth Sector all year it is something to be mindful of. Star 5 is the Pure Potential of any opportunity...it is The Vortex smack dab in the Centre of it all. Using Star 5 for beneficial change is always risky I feel, but it can be done. Take precautions, meditate upon the Highest Quality Outcome you can possibly imagine and stay on target. Personally I'd hand a windchime out here...deflection until you feel like Shiva and can handle creating a new world may be the preferred option.

Star 2 in the North has potentials that tap into any Human weaknesses, so it can bring up illness in physical, mental or emotional form, and can even have you feeling spiritually despondent. Remedy with great quality Qi Flow and those Metal Influences.

The SW with that Star 3 in residence can manifest quarrels and fighting. Reduce its energy with the use of Pale Fire representations and other things like Divine Beings, softness of all kinds, and quietness too.

Dark Moon is around the 15th so its advisable to do any clearing out before then. Re-evaluate the necessity of possessions, of all kinds, in your life and your spaces. Thought processes, diet inclusions or exclusions, friends, activities are all 'possessions' as far as I see it.
Full Moon is around the 29th, so you'll have a big bright moonlight Hallows Eve :), although energy will again be on the way 'out' at the time, so perhaps some more cathartic re-evaluation of possessions in all forms can be done then too.

I've just enjoyed moving house and have been in contact with so many possessions, evaluating them, re-adjusting my connection to physical items and their meaning in my life. Its a long process for some things, dismissal for others, and quiet contemplation of memories for most.

How to promote opportunities for WEALTH ...

So its Feng Shui New Year straight after Chinese New Year in 2011! That means we can get preparations completed and great new energy grids set up for you and your property to receive Peace, Health and Prosperity this year :) Great stuff!

What you absolutely need to know this year to promote opportunities for WEALTH:
Clear up and make gorgeous the NW area of your property and building. The Annual Wealth Star 8 is residing in the NW Progression (Travel and Helpful People) sector this year, and will be encouraging wealth opportunities via advice from Mentors, Gurus, Teachers, Good Samaritans, Guardian Angels and the like. The energy of the NW is one of Divine Synchronicity, where you are able to 'tap into' the collective consciousness and find exactly what you need when you need it.

*de-clutter - this promotes the good Chi Flow in all matters of wealth. If you have no 'space' in your physical living or working environment, then the Universe interprets this as meaning you have no room for new energy. When we don't de-clutter we may feel heavy, possibly distracted, and overwhelmed with the care and storage of possessions. Without an outflow there can be no beneficial inflow, only blockage, bloating, stagnation. Remove items that would keep you locked into unhappy memories, past problems or unbeneficial connections.

*clean  - using environmentally conscious cleaning choices, remove dirt, smells, dust, rubbish, etc from the NW. View your work as if it was an invitation to the Universe to come on in with the wealth ideas!

*set an intention/affimation - what do you need in your life? what is your 'wealth' going to be? how would you like wealth to manifest in your life? *Place a running water feature in the NW for this year, and clean the water regularly. This stimulates Chi Flow and 'activates' the wealth influence.

*Place some reddish coloured gemstones in the NW to support the Annual Wealth Star 8, which is an Earth element and nourished by Fire.

*Place images of things that imbue the space with a feeling of 'Flow'. Waterfalls, Rivers, etc, or icons like Arch Angel Micheal, Ganesha (Remover of Obstacles), Lakshmi, a Cornucopia (horn of prosperity), Golden Buddha, etc that invite in the kind of energy you require to help with your chosen affirmation.

Use the Northwest area of your property or building as a place to take breaks, brainstorm with pad and pen, surf the net with a laptop, read, listen to radio programmes, watch TV...etc, any activity where you enable a conduit for messages to reach you...'unexpectedly'. ;)

Feng Shui New Year begins on February 4th 2011. Chinese New Year is on Feb 3rd 2011. In either case, its good to have done a stack of cleaning, tidying and clearing out before these dates. Clean the front door area too so that your property says 'hello! and Happy New Year' with the best possible appearance :))
