Feng Shui Forecast Tips and Remedies for August 2010

Possible Change or Challenge in HomeLife/Stability (8,5)
Contemplation – receiving information (2,8)
Reputation – Social burnout (?), however this year supports the improvement of how others perceive us… (3,9)
Lack of Harmony in Relationships, Contention – need for change to come about (5,2)
Passionate Inspiration in Career or Life Purpose (4,1)
Spending for Pleasure (7,4)
Challenges for ‘superiors’ in ‘Family’ or a confrontation regarding Health (6,3)
A Guardian or Mentor approaches to give aide of some kind (9,6)

Wow, what a month coming up in August, very much designed to keep one on their toes!

Centre - This year we’ve had this beautiful Earth Energy Star 8, the Annual Wealth Star, nourishing and calming, helping us to convert dreams into reality. During August it is visited by the Challenge and Change Star 5, so it is a month to tread carefully within our homes and where our stability lies. What gives you a sense of Stability? This is a wealth all its own, and one of the very foundations to contentment in Life, so identifying your ‘core’, the things that make you feel stable and secure will help you focus on all the right things during the coming month. This combination can also point to a potential upheaval or significant change (it doesn’t always have to be a bad thing eh?!) in your building’s purpose or occupancy. In the practice of Flying Stars Feng Shui, the 5 Star is known to bring considerable discomfort of all sorts, but it is also calmed when in conjunction with Star 8, as Star 8 is said to ‘make 5 behave’.
Remedy: The energy of the centre of any building should be cleared of all rubbish, have repairs carried out if necessary and generally have a lift in energy using some flower essences, aromatherapy (soothing oils) and sacred incense.

Northeast - The Contemplation area has some very suitable ‘grounding’ energy that you’ll be able to use for deep meditations. If that’s not your thing, do get into a little ‘earthing’ or ‘earthwalking’ in this area of the garden as it is very ‘receptive’ energy during August. If you’re into the property market and have a home office or office in the NE, this month provides you with support for your endeavours as Star 2 IS the Earth number and is associated with receiving and accumulating, and, Star 8, also an Earth number, is the Wealth Star for 2010!
Tip: accentuate this energy with representations of ‘beautiful earth’, like a bowl of gemstones, a display of stunning crystals, or a picture of a healthy landscape.

South - The Reputation area has a visit from the energy that naturally resides here, the vibrant Star 9! It is supported all this year by the Annual Star 3 which is naturally competitive and will push people to show how good they are at what they do. It can lead to arrogance, so be aware that all shows of supposed intelligence need to be backed up with knowledge and/or integrity. More likely, is the event of so many social occasions (networking, invitations accepted etc) that you find your Reputation enhanced simply because you are meeting more people than normal.
Tip: Stay gracious, be fabulosum.

Southwest - Relationships may have real challenges again this month as the contentious combination manifesting can be responsible for arguments and fights, but its generally because there are two totally different energies combining here. A ‘accumulative, receptive’ Star 2 and a ‘changeable and uncomfortable’ Star 5. They just grate against each other. Be aware of stomach complaints if this is the kitchen or main door or bedroom in the Southwest. Be extra-super-meticulous with food prep and handling.
Remedy: Implement ‘The Sound of Metal’ using piano music, a metal windchime or chiming clock.

North - In the Career area (also Life Purpose) the Passionate Star 4 supported by Wise Star 1 energy. This support can see beautiful inspiration regarding your career track, or your life path. It’s ‘entrepreneurial’ energy for sure.
Tip: work in this area for access to great inspiration.

Southeast - Might be best to concentrate on what brings you wealth this month as opposed to spending it. In the Wealth and Growth area the Pleasure seeking Star 7 is combined with the Passions Star 4. This is an opportunity to blow-out the budget and have a great time! Or not….
Remedy: Water representations (dark blue, black, irregular shapes) and Pale Fire representations (cherry blossoms, pinks, lilac, peach, star-like shapes)

East - The Health and Family area may bring real issues regarding who rules the roost as the energy of Authority residing here for the year is met with a double whammy of Competition and Conflict from the usual resident AND the Monthly Star. This may see situations between superiors and subordinates, parents and children escalate to a point where everyone loses. This energy of Authority and Leadership that is residing as the Annual Star 6, can be used to gain Maturity and Perspective on issues that usually bring arguments.
Tip: Representations of Divine Energy like Angels, Beautiful Icons, Saints, Merciful Gods and Goddesses (like Kuan Yin especially) will help to alleviate contentious energy in the area. Keep it tidy and burn aromatherapy oils like Orange, Lavender and Geranium to uplift and soothe the whole space.

Northwest – The Progression area invites a combination of influences that may well bring some welcome help your way. Authority and Vivacity team up to bring you a ‘high energy personality’ to assist you with a current dilemma, question or situation.
Tip: Place a notebook and pencil, the TV or laptop, a telephone or even a selection of books here to ponder over the whole month. ‘Help’ can arrive in many forms, so get the gateways open and ready to receive!

Conclusion:
A month which sees its fair amount of argumentative energy as a potential, but also offers a few pools of calm to flop about in. Focus on the Centre, North and Northeast to reap a month of positives, and keep the other sectors tidied and quiet as possible to avoid disruptions.

Have a gorgeous August!

NB: I have over the years, developed my own names for the Bagua Sectors which are usually translated as ‘Travel / Helpful People’ (Progression) and ‘Romance / Academia’ (Passions) and ‘Knowledge / Self Cultivation’ (Contemplation). I hope you can substitute these labels if you are currently studying, or have already studied Feng Shui from the Bagua School.

Sunday 25 July 2010

Are you 'too Yang' for your own good?

If I asked you how many times you'd been quiet and still (other than at bedtime) this week, what would you say?
Once?
Twice?
or twice a day?
The last answer would be the most beneficial of course, but the reality of life now is that it takes commitment to achieve pure quiet and stillness within twice a day.

Being completely 'active' all the time is a Yang thing. It leads to imbalance because we always need Yin to compliment Yang in order to achieve harmony and good health.
Yang means things that are loud, fast, hot, explosive, bright etc...like traffic at peak hour! and we all know how stressful that is...however you may not be aware that it has a lot to do with the positive ions (the electrical charge of an object) that are created by the movement of these big metallic cars, the electrical systems, lights etc, and that the cars are moving over a bitumen or ashphalt surface, which cuts off beneficial Earth Energy from rising to meet the Yang energy. So if you spend a lot of time in a vehicle, you are cut off from this beneficial frequency...

Earth Energy IS Yin Energy. It is the negative ions of our planet, and negative ions are very good for Humans! Yin Energy rises up to meet the Yang Energy descending from our Universe/Galaxy, and when they meet, they make another kind of Chi/Energy.

To truly benefit from 'quiet time' each day, you should attempt to sit on the ground outside, the grassy spot you love, or the rock that's comfortable. Stay barefoot (or just wear socks that can be washed if its cold) and sit on a folded up rug instead of anything rubbery that would effectually insulate you from the rising Earth Energy vibration.

Taking the time to contemplate or meditate outside brings relief from stress, pain and discomfort. And it doesn't matter if you can't sit up, just lay down on a cotton mat or jute rug, and splat for as long as you can :) Recent studies have shown that Earth Energy can alleviate inflammation caused by injuries and disease, and it can bring balance to the energetic systems of the body (our Meridians or Nadi) It can be used as a kind of 'energy maintenance', and the effects will resonate through your Life Experiences.

The Best Places to Be Quiet
On the grass in your backyard or a park nearby
At the beach (yes! you can do a barefoot walking meditation, of course!)
Near a running stream or waterfall
In a Salt Bath

The Quickest Way to Connect to Yin Earth Energy
Take you shoes off and stand on wet grass (at dawn is the best time for this, or just after rain)
Take a cold shower (the falling water has a negative ion charge)
Swim in the Ocean, or stream or waterfall

The effect of connecting to Earth Energy are many. It can alleviate pain, promote better sleep, improve 'bad skin' or irritability in Mind, Body and Spirit alike. Basically, we are designed to receive this Earth Energy, and without it we manifest a deficiency in the form of one ill-health or another....so do yourself a favour and get a fantastic 'dose' of free Earth Energy medicine :)

ABC Superfood Balls

Ingredients

1/2 cup Raw Almonds

1/4 cup Raw Brazil Nuts

1/2 cup Raw Cashews

1 cup dried Apricots

1&1/2 tablespoons Coconut Oil (cold pressed extra virgin)

1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground Nutmeg

Method

· In a 1.5 or 1.8L processor bowl, place the raw nuts and pulse to break them up. Take a handful or two aside to use to roll the balls in and prevent the finished balls from sticking together.

· Process the nuts until they are a rough ‘meal’ consistency...like rustic wholemeal flour.

· Chop up the dried apricots and add them to the bowl.

· Pulse to break them up and mix them through.

· Process the mixture until the apricots are in small pieces/chunks about the size of small raisins.

· Add the dried spices and mix together.

· Add the coconut oil and mix on medium to blend the ingredients well.

· Test the mixture so that it stays together when you pinch it. (if you need to add a little more coconut oil do so in half teaspoon increments until you reach a good consistency)

· Using a teaspoon, scoop out a small amount of mixture and roll it into a ball, then roll it in some of the nut meal. Continue until the mixture is all rolled into balls and coated in nut meal.

· Place in a jar or container in the fridge so they can solidify.

These are delicious with
chai tea or dandelion root drink, and a good way of getting an instant energy boost without consuming sugar.

You could add some raw cacao, or Berry Radical powder to this mixture and make it ‘chocolatey’, or substitute the nut meal coating with Quinoa or Amaranth flakes to give it extra protein. The nut and dried fruit mix is full of vitamins and minerals to support you when you need that extra bit of help to get through the day. And, this is all processed sugar free. Great hey :)

Super Bliss Balls!

Here's a special blog for Vicki :) Thanks for prompting me to get these recipes up on the Blog! :) Cheers!!

Super Bliss Balls

(Vegan and V yummy too)

Ingredients (certified organic wherever possible)

· 5 large Medjool Dates or 5 to 6 large semi dried Prunes

· Half a teaspoon each of ground Nutmeg and Cinnamon

· One Tablespoon Raw Honey or Coconut Oil

· One Tablespoon Chia Seed

· One Tablespoon Raw Cacao powder (or use Berry Radical Superfood Antioxidant powder)

· Half a teaspoon of Spirulina (or Chlorella) powder (or use In-Liven Superfood powder)

· Half a cup of raw Cashews

· Quarter of a cup of raw Almonds

· Small handful of Walnuts

(you may of course choose to use a different combination of premium quality nuts, but avoid peanuts)

You will also need a half cup of Sesame Seeds, Quinoa Flakes, Coconut Flakes or crushed nuts for the coating

Method

· Pit the dates

· Add all the ingredients into a 1.8L or 1.5L food processor bowl

· Pulse to mix the ingredients and break up any big nuts

· Blend for about 30seconds to a workable consistency ie: so you can pinch the mixture together and it holds shape...you may want to add another half teaspoon of honey, coconut oil or apple juice, if it needs it.

· Turn off the processor at the wall and remove the blade

· Using a teaspoon, scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them on the palms of your hands to form small balls

· Place them onto a plate with the Sesame Seeds

· Once you have rolled the mixture into balls, gently roll them on the Sesame Seeds to coat them, and put into a container to keep in the fridge.

These are powerpacked little bombs of nutrition! Take one or two for a quick midmorning/midafternoon energy boooooooooost, or, as a pack when hiking or walking. I find that even my small child can handle eating these as the nuts are already crushed up a fair bit.
Try using a little dusting of raw cacao to coat the bliss balls for a bitter-sweet hit…
now...wouldn’t that go well with some organic chai...

Flying Stars Forecast for July 2010

We have a few really fantastic energy influences this month to ‘tap into’ and reap great rewards from, and we have a couple of areas to keep nice and quiet too! Prosperity is a realisable potential for July but it will require a solid foundation of stability in your building, so to begin, we need to start in the Centre.

The Centre Palace is being visited with one of the most helpful energetic combinations called ‘Rich and Famous’. The combination of Star 8 (the Annual Wealth Star for 2010!) and the Star 6 signifies ‘Wealth or Stability nourishing Authority and Helpfulness’. It is excellent for helping with finding ways to make money, or, for getting noticed by superior authorities who can acknowledge your talents and reward in kind. Be fabulous, and be sure of what you are doing. Enhance with Fire Agents of Red hues, pointy shapes and expressions of all things that are linked with your hopes, dreams and desires. ‘Explosive Manifestation’ is the Mind-set! And of course you’ve already got your running water feature up and going haven’t you? No? Well, maybe you could experiment with an Fire coloured lava lamp or similar...

Next, turn your eyes Southward and examine the area that influences your Reputation and your own Perceptions. What is there, does it need cleaning up, tidying, fixing, beautifying? If you are in a business premises take care with the South this year of course as the potential for legal wrangling in paperwork is prevalent, but the in July it is helped by the Wise Star 1. During this period we see the possibility for business to really ramp up and get Very Busy.

Going West to the SW, the Relationships area has a big potential problem as the contractually sticky combination of 3,5 rears for July. It can also really upset couples with unusual arguments. A month to bite your lip, take a deep breath, and talk about it in August…

To subdue a Star 3 we usually recommend a pale Fire Agent, but as the SW has the Annual Star 5 in residence, it is best to stick with the Sound of Metal to subdue both the Star 5 and 3. A soundtrack of soothing classical piano is going to be very helpful for this area of a building.

The West has another great energy combination called ‘Healthy & Wealthy’. The Star 8 called ‘Angel of Wealth & Happiness’ is propelled into action by Star 1, ‘Angel of Sheng Chi’ (‘Sheng’ means high level energy) With this in the Creative sector it bodes well for flashes of divine inspiration. Get ready to have exactly what you need, downloading, in one form or another ;)

In the NW, the Travel & Helpful People sector assists with all kinds of Progression in life. July sees it activated with a lot of socialising energy, so it is a good spot to hold a tea-party, after work drinks or a gathering at your house if this is a place you can use for dining.

Star 2 comes to visit the North Career & Life Purpose sector, so do be aware of accumulating too much work all at once. There is also a potential for middle aged women to be affected with ill-health if they are sleeping in a bedroom here...especially if the aesthetics are not totally good. Use a Salt Water Cure and clean up as much as possible to avoid ill-health.

Again in the NE, the Annual Star 2 is being given a boost by the arrival of the Star 9 during July. If your feng shui is high quality, don’t sweat this combination at all. However, if you have rubbish bins outside this area of the house, or if it is in current renovation or disrepair, you would be wise to sort it out and clean it up. 9,2 is not a combination to mess with as it can bring ill-health to the stomach and the drain the very feeling of enjoyment from normal life.

The East has the sometimes contentious combination of Star 4 (Human Passions) being oppressed by Star 6 (Authority & Leadership). In relation to the family structure this can see a battle of wills between subordinates and superiors in the professional field, and a problem between Parents/Guardians and younger household occupants. Star 6 is also called Leadership because of its ability to be ‘giving’. Adults always need to ‘give’ a good example of what Maturity really is, rather than what they want it to be.

Finally the SE Wealth & Growth sector has the potentially unfavourable energy of Star 5 (Change and Challenge) fly in for July. In combination with the resident Star 7, referred to as ‘The Spirit of Destruction’, it brings to mind the idea that some things need to be broken down and rebuilt to be ‘better’. Never fear destruction, but be aware it may lead to a bit of work repairing and rebuilding. Star 7 is related to Pleasure and pursuits that make us feel ‘good’. It can lead to overspending so keeping an eye on your budget has never been more important than when a combination like this comes into the Wealth sector! If you are sleeping on this combination take more care of your teeth and mouth. Do nightly rinses with three drops of Tea Tree essential oil in a cup of water. (avoid using alcoholic or synthetic mouthwash as it can bring on other problems)

I hope you all have your metal wind chimes in place for 2010 in the SW and/or NE to alleviate any potentials from the Annual Star 2 or 5. If you want to find a quality product, delivered to your door, with a guarantee of quality, Australian Made, and with an after-sales service option…(phew!) visit www.WindsongChimes.com.au/windchimes-shop.htm and view the styles, listen to the tones and choose the one you love the best. I am offering a free Rescue Remedy 25ml when you order through me at www.HolisticTherapyConnections.com. Free postage on all orders over $100.

So enjoy the wealth opportunities, and the creative boosts too. Focus on the positives and subdue the negatives, and enjoy a lovely July :)

Identifying Potent Energy Places

Everyone uses their homes differently, and this also causes some confusion when we normally assume the most potent energy is at the front or main entrance, and the sleeping place of each person.

Potent Energy Places are different for every occupant of the premises, based on where they normally enter the building, where they sleep, work, play, meditate, converse and eat, etc… Sometimes ‘potent energy spaces’ are those ones where we kick shoes off and just ‘splat’, regularly... When I begin a consultation assessment of a building I usually ask the person (or people) to ‘introduce me’ to their home or business premises. This enables me to get a feel for how they use the place, which areas they like, what they feel needs attention, or if they particularly dislike any area or features of the property. This way I can identify their particular potent energy place or places.

As and adult I can look back on my Life Experience so far and see that in each phase I have depended upon a different area of the house for particular use. As a child my bedroom was mostly used for sleeping and playing, and I rarely spent any time in other rooms of the house. As an adolescent, the bedroom was used as ‘my domain’, my art room, my reading space, my sanctuary, and I only used the other rooms lightly as well, sometimes taking up a lot of time on the kitchen table late at night while studying… Then as a young adult in my own house I used the lounge-room and office mostly… As a new Mum most of my time was again spent in the main bedroom and hardly any other room was used. Now as a mother of three, I am using quite a lot of the rooms in my house! So it is only now during ‘this phase’ of my life that I am being influenced by many areas of the building’s energy.

From this perspective its easy to see why sometimes a person sets up a home office in a new part of the house and enjoys better success in business. Part of this could be down to better organisation of space, yes, but a lot of it will have to do with the energetic influences on that particular spot of the building!

To identify your most potent energy places
· Take a moment to observe where you spend a lot of your time.
· Write down three places you enjoy just sitting in at your house.
· Write down rooms that you rarely sit in at all.
· Write down room or spaces you do not use to ‘live’ in. (ie: storage, guest rooms, etc)
· After doing this assess just how much of your building you are using. (25%, 45%, 85%...)
· Colour in, on a quick and simple mudmap of your floorplan, the areas you use most.

The results are a good way of establishing your personal potent energy spaces.
Where are these places according to the Bagua? Is your Wealth sector completely undernourished with Chi Flow, or is it receiving a good amount of energetic stimulation? What about the Relationships, Family & Health, or Travel & Helpful People sector?

Each area of your home requires some nourishment to activate its potential support for you and your Life Experience. When one area is undernourished, its natural potency is heavily subdued, and this will in turn correlate with the Life Experiences of the house’s occupants, but, it can correspond more with the occupant who is not using that area at all.

We all generally use the main entrance doorways of our buildings, so these areas should always be considered part of your handful of potent energy spaces. We all generally sleep around 6—10 hours in our bedrooms, so these again are one of your potent energy spaces.

Find out what kind of energy you are sleeping on and how the quality of your space is affecting your Life Experience by taking a look at the diagram of the Bagua, and then taking a compass reading of the direction you face when you look out your front door. From this you should be able to plot a general map of the compass directions onto your floorplan. Then you can see what sectors are nourished, and which sectors are possibly neglected.

What do you do if you find some areas aren’t being used at all?
Easy. You can choose to allot these spaces as ‘storage’ or ‘guest rooms’ of course, most people will have such places in their homes, but you need to have these spaces cleaned and organised.
· Nourishing them with a picture of a divine being, a beautiful statue, a gorgeous rock specimen or shell collection, that can be the spaces’ ‘occupant’ can also help to fill the void as well.
· Using some aromatherapy or burning incense is helpful at keeping the energy of those kinds of spaces ‘up’.
· Always give storage areas or guest rooms a good airing regularly to improve energy flow and keep the space ‘healthy’.
· You never know, you may even find these new spots in the house just right for some other use too!

Use this information when considering the Flying Stars Forecast for the month too, as knowing what areas of your building will be receiving most energy flow will help to identify useful energy tips from the Forecast so you can avoid unhelpful influences and make the best of the good ones :)

Farewell to the HTCM

This Solstice I took a long and detailed look at my life. I wanted to identify my core loves, to prioritise the things that really nourish me and my family, and to release things that were holding me back, or weighing me down. Clarity was what I was after, and so I turned to my Bach Flowers, taking my Clarity blend for a few weeks before and after the MidWinter Solstice.

What came of this therapy was a huge amount of contemplation. Clarity is obtained through quiet contemplation, directed Meditation, and a desire to open up and see clearly what one's situation is.

I have obtained much joy and a large sense of achievement by producing the Holistic Therapy Connections MiniZine over the last 5 years. (yes! its been that long!) I've enjoyed presenting a free text connection and imparting information to others with the intention of helping and supporting them towards a more harmonious lifestyle. I've loved the feedback. I'm in awe of the connections it has brought me and very grateful that it has been a success.

But it is not a priority anymore. Now that I have assessed my needs and my priorities, the HTCM is something that is being waived bye-bye to, and given a great big farewell hug. Thankyou to you the readers, thankyou to the contributors and supporters. Its been a great journey, and one I hope to continue with you on this blog into the future.

As many of you already know, I am home educating my children, and this is a primary consideration to roll back my list of commitments elsewhere so that I can give them more time. I am also enjoying the collaboration with Ross Lamond, editing and formatting his truly wonderful stories into ebooks. This is where I feel a great 'pull' towards something that combines my desire to express harmonious concepts and also provide a creative outlet in the form of illustration and more. Over a year ago I set a goal to be involved in 'publishing', and at the time thought to publish my own books (yes, there are a few 'on the go' even now), but I sit here now, with the accomplishment of helping Ross self-publish two ebooks already, and with another 3 or 5 to go!

How great is Synchronicity?! :)

The Monthly Flying Stars Forecast will be published each month on the blog, along with a steady flow of articles about all sorts of holistic therapies. You can get these posts automatically by following my blog at this link here.

Why use Holistic Therapy?

When we are unwell in our body, or feeling uninspired and perhaps confused, Nature offers the most beautiful and potent remedies for us to heal ourselves with.

My personal journey towards living a holistic lifestyle began with my core interests in the natural world, medicinal plants, aromatherapy and 'magic'. I'm in love with the magic of this world, and grateful that I can still find things to wonder at, to marvel at and to inspire me onwards through this existence. Systems of explaining the world like Feng Shui helped me to grasp the concepts of harmony and living alongside our environment. Through Meditation I found a way of obtaining inner Peace. Via Flower Essence Therapy I found release and healing for emotional issues. With Aromatherapy I found not only physical healing, but also emotional soothing and the ability to be spiritually uplifted. Sound Therapy in the form of Mantra and Kirtan was a way of expressing the Divine resonance within.

With the birth of my first child I started to look into the hazards of the modern world, and how I could protect and nourish myself and my family so that we can live a life of high quality experiences. That begins with high quality physical and mental health, as well as deep and abiding connection to Spirit, or our inner-self.

We are wonderful Beings, capable of living wondrous lives. By using the holistic approach to life and its challenges, we'll be able to reap the largest rewards, one of which is contentment, and the most prized of course, Harmony.

You're not hungry,...you're malnourished!

Food now is so low in natural nutrients that we have an epidemic of malnutrition. That means we are not receiving the necessary minerals, vitamins and trace elements necessary for basic health.

If you take a look at the average dietary intake of an adult it is shockingly poor in raw and unprocessed, high quality fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately the era of 'convenient foods' has come and its brought with it a host of side effects, similar to the problem we see with pharmaceutical medicines.

Society just can't seem to get enough of pizza, pasta, biscuits, breads, 'energy snack bars', cereal for breakfast, and 'fast food' like burgers, chips etc that are laden with bad fats and sugars as well as synthetic salt. The saddest thing is that this generation and the last, and the one before that, has been brought up to believe that these things are 'food' when in fact they are 'filler', just like chaff that livestock are fed to fatten them up. We aren't hungry, we don't NEED breakfast lunch and dinner to be such enormous undertakings and in such huge servings, its absurd. WE aren't doing 10 to 14 hr heavy labour days, tilling fields and tending to livestock....most of us work behind a counter or a computer! But the programming is there, and the more sedentary lives we lead the worse off we become using the kind of diet intake that our ancestors used. We aren't living and existence even close to what they were, so our need to change is imperative for our own health.

It takes a giant mind-bend to get past 20 or 30 years (or more) of programming, to realise that real food is fresh, its unprocessed and it doesn't necessarily need to be cooked. Changing your dietary intake by just 25% to raw and unprocessed high quality fruit and vegetables will increase your ability to not only burn fat, but also to throw off small infections like the common cold and flu! Many people find that allergies simply disappear, aches in the joints and pain dissolve within a few days, and syndromes vanish with the change in diet. My personal experience is that several long term (20years +) health issues were healed by introducing fresh food and probiotics, and the removal of toxic food.

Processed sugars, grains and fats are not foods. But they fill you up a little for a time, and turn off the 'hungry' switch in the brain. Yet only an hour or so later you're ready for morning tea or a snack. Why is this? It's because you haven't actually got the nutrition you require from those foods. Its as simple as that...you are malnourishing yourself with heaps of food. Odd, isn't it?

Being healthy isn't about 'finding the substitute' for what you are eating now. It is the REMOVAL of what is harmful in your diet now and INTRODUCING nourishing foods. This introduction can be done gradually which is good for you and your body too.

What to REMOVE:
White Flour products
Processed Grain products (breakfast cereals)
Factory farmed meat of all kinds (use wild caught game if you cannot do without meat)
Processed and packaged foods with additives and preservatives
Processed Sugar and products (sweets, lollies, etc)
Fried fats and oils
Dairy Milk products

What to INTRODUCE:
Fresh fruit and vegetables (from your local area if possible)
Fresh herbs (from your own garden or pot garden if possible)
Raw Honey and Dried Fruits (use dried fruits without sulphur and preservatives of course)
Nuts and nut milks
High Protein grains (Amaranth, Quinoa etc)
Probiotics (as drinks or cultured vegetables & fruits)
Good hydration from clean, pure water

I have personally introduced all of these measures over the last 3 years, and find that whenever I do eat any of the 'REMOVE' list I suffer with headaches, or have an emotional 'blow out' similar to what I always thought was 'normal'. Now I know its a reaction to my dietary intake, and its enormously obvious! Good health is so easy, but it takes commitment, and it takes time. However 'inconvenient' we may feel these changes might be, it is a lot more inconvenient to deal with illhealth and medications, intervention and surgery for ailments and diseases that are a direct result of taking in toxic food.

We can't help living in a world that is toxic, but we CAN help ourselves to remove as much toxin from our bodies as we can.
