Healing on all levels with Helichrysum

Helichrysum growing in Corsica. As someone who loves to explore the Energy Signature of plants, this one looks decidedly like 'beauty in the middle of harshness' given the terrain it is seen growing and thriving in... A plant that knows how to get the best out of a not-so-optimal situation ;)
Healing scars and wounds is a passion of mine. I have been interested in healing the physical as well as spiritual and emotional scars, as I know taking care of all three enables true healing, and that's what I want; real healing, not a surface scar that I'll need to give more attention to later on. Helichrysum is also kown as 'Immortelle' and 'Everlasting', and commonly used as both a spiritual propellant and for the treatment of scarring and wounds.

My first forays into Aromatherapy started with the obvious and traditional uses of Lavender, Chamomile, Patchouli and the various blossoms and florals. They were a sensory wonder, and then came the more enlightened acknowledgement of the message they bring to the emotional and spiritual aspects of humans. This pricked my interest considerably! When I used Lavender I would see particular colours around me, or the person I was using it with. They were different colours to the ones for Chamomile, or Patchouli and so on. I also became tuned into a type of energetic music that each aromatherapy oil would suggest. This type of phenomena truly inspired my love of aromatherapy (and then I got a little crazy and overloaded myself with too many different oils) and furthered my journey of discovery with them.

Recently I had been up against a blockage emotionally. Feeling 'displacement' in my life, manifesting in confusions, doubts, apathy, lethargy and the other common ailments of a life not being driven particularly well. I'd taken my hands off the wheel and I knew that it didn't feel right. That's when Helichrysum decided to start saying 'hello'. I bought a bottle and marvelled at how amazingly healing the scent was. To me it instantly said 'bandages', and I was given a pale and soft cream colour to meditate upon. I felt my psyche being wrapped in soft, petal-like swathes of colour and aroma. A soft pentatonic melody swept through my Mind. *ding ding, dong, ding ding* :) I laughed at the message with joy. I thanked Helichrysum for the healing.

I think Helichrysum is working with me very slowly. It's aroma signature, or Energy Signature, is changing subtley with the time I am giving the treatment. At first it smelled decidedly 'medicinal', hence the immediate image and sensory overload of 'bandages'. It immediately knew I needed some protection and enclosure. Now, I am 'scentsing' a whole new floral layer to its aroma, and along with it is coming a greater perspective on the connections I have now. More appreciation for the passions I have. More acknowledgement about what makes me feel strong, what I love, and what I want to do.

I am aligning with something bigger than me and while I find it intimidating, I am also in awe of its beauty. My life is unfolding and old fears are being released. A new phase of healing comes in just as needed. In Perfect Timing as always ;)

Beautiful Blessings for Abundantly Natural Healing

Fast-Tract Gluten Free Probiotic - easy

If you've been struggling with uncomfortable cramps and bloating, or full blown IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) symptoms, you might think there's nothing you haven't already tried.  Fast-Tract is a certified organic fermented drink that is potent with good bacteria to help re-floralise your gut and improve overall digestive health.

Today's diets are saturated with processed flours, sugars and cheap oils like Canola and Sunflower (that are not cold-pressed). These things seriously deteriorate the ability for our bodies to function 'normally', and the answer is to radically improve (notice I did not write 'change') your food and drink intake. Obvious culprits to remove are sugars, flours and cheap or 'hydrogenated' oils. But what you might not be aware of is the chemical quotient of some marketed processed foods that are labelled 'gluten free'.  Be aware that these synthetics will do absolutely nothing to improve a sluggish digestive system or one that is severely under attack from harmful bacteria. Steer clear of processed and packaged foods.

Raw foods become a bit of an issue if your digestion can't break them down as it should be able to, and for this reason many IBS sufferers, or those even mildly gluten intolerant find that switching to a raw food intake becomes painful and just as uncomfortable...its very depressing and disheartening. What those people need to do is to help their systems re-floralise back to health, and by doing this, they will be able to break down those veges and eliminate painful gas accumulation/bloating etc. Another piece of advice would be to always include a kind of fruit or acid (lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, etc) with any meal to assist the breakdown of food in the digestive tract.

Fast-Tract is also beneficial for anyone who has had to take a course of anti-biotics through sickness, hospital birthing, or surgery, as these kill of the good bacteria as well as the bad... Recovery is enhanced with the intake of great quality probiotics because the body can effectively uptake nutrients from food. (and for nursing mumma's its essential to get this corrected for good milk supply and to help reduce the possibility of yeast infections and mastitis)

Fast-Tract is only available through a Miessence Representative or authorised retail dealer. As the dosage is only 25ml per day, the whole treatment is extremely economical compared with others, coming in at a cost of only $2.70 a day. Each bottle is approximately 1 month's treatment. Discounts apply for 'preferred customers' or join up as a Rep yourself to enjoy instant discounts on all products in the entire range and the benefits of having your very own certified organic business to utilise for you and your family and friends.

Tuning into Love - 029 Solutions

Nothing like a particularly trying morning to put into perspective 'how' you cope or 'deal' with situations when they arise.

Take today for example. I wake up, check the email after a quiet breakfast, and am greeted with a notice that a quite large payment has been 'automatically' taken out of my account as part of a website hosting agreement I don't remember making...not a great start...
I contact the company to be met with the startling truth that 'yes, apparently you have this charge and it is correct'. Eeeeeks! I can't remember this being in the fine print but of course...its Mercury Retro at the moment, so I'm half smirking to myself, the other half is slightly panicking about the size of this unexpected payment...

For a while now I have been considering revamping the HTC website so that it flows with where I am now in Life, Biz and Love...and you know, only last night I had been trialling things out in my head..."maybe I should just cut it all away and start again", "maybe it would be good to have some collaboration with the design", "maybe I can just chuck it all in and use the blog for a while till I figure out what to do...", and then I wake up to this 'opportunity' :) Gotta love it eh?

For a little while I'm in 'worry mode'. 'ooooh all that work and effort' in the current website....'oh dear, what a lot of work to put it altogether again...' etc etc etc. And then I look at the screen again, with the annoying and condescending 'e-assistant' response to my harried questions. I breathe. I take it all in and think, 'well actually, this is what I've been requesting, a whole new opportunity to start again'.

No idea where this pic comes from (had it for years) but I love the energy of Ammonites...they are said to hold ancient earth, sea and star knowledge within their spiral manifestation...

So today I Tune into Love with the realisation that I have beautiful opportunities coming my way with only a small amount of prompting. And, that it's not about figuring out the problems or rising to the challenges that come along, but for me it is about sitting back and surveying the many solutions that arise from the opportunities that present themselves for my perusal.

Treatment of a Plantar Wart using Black Salve

Hello :) !

I've just completed a treatment to remove a Plantar Wart from my foot. I haven't had many of these in my life, but they are quite painful once they reach a certain size, and even more if they are on a part of the body that isn't very big. Commonly they occur on the hands and feet. I can remember one big one on my toe as a child and it getting so bad that my foot would ache from wearing a shoe. I had it 'burned off' at the doctors surgery and the experience was *very painful*, so painful that I remember it vividly even today.

Burning off a wart entails the doctor injecting a local anaesthetic needle into the immediate area (yeah! I know! ouch!!) and then freeze-burning the affected skin with gas. Eventually the wart falls out a few weeks later. Its painful, confronting, and costs a doctor appointment for assessment and then another for treatment, costs of the needle and gas, then more follow up appointments to assess the wound. Its expensive...

The following jpg files will be best clicked on separately and downloaded so you can see the detail and read the notes easily, but the gist of it is that I spent two weeks of the treatment being intense but not overly painful, and two weeks of healing up. Overall costs were approximately $13. The treatment did not stop me doing most things...I run a household and two online businesses, home-educate three children, and am pregnant with my fourth...so I had a fairly full workload and I got around to it all with only a few days being difficult to cope with.

Black Salve is used to treat cancers and tumors in animals, but more people are turning to it as an affordable way of slowly treating small skin cancers with marvelous results. The recipe for Black Salve has been used traditionally for people for approximately 2000years, so there's a fair bit of anecdotal evidence to support its use on humans...however it is not 'approved for use on humans'. Never ever use it on a large lesion without professional help. Only ever use it on an area the size of your thumb pad at a time (that goes for animals and if you choose to use this on yourself too). I was interested to see if it would work on something like a wart virus and evidently, it does :).

Apricot Coconut Bliss Balls

Its been a while since I refined one of my bliss ball recipes, but since I have been out and about with the new Home-Ed group doing 'park days' for around 10months now, I've found these little packets of energy just so, so useful to have in the picnic hamper. Especially when my 3year old has been taken with wanderlust a lot more, which leaves me not having lunch on the picnic blankets with other Mums, but out and about, here and there, following my little explorer with a handful of edible things to munch along the way.

This is a quick recipe, pretty fail-safe, dairy free and if you leave out the Raw Wheatgerm its also gluten free. Just a note on the ingredients; I always use foods that are as natural as possible, so that means, no GMO stuff, predominantly Certified Organic, and if I use dried fruits I obtain the kind that do not contain sulphites or preservatives. To me, there's no point in 'doing health food' if its not really, truly, healthy...

First up, the ingredients list:
200g Dried Apricots
Handful Dried Goji Berries
Handful Sultanas
12 Pitted Prunes
30ml Flaxseed Oil (cold-pressed, virgin)

5tblspns Fine Coconut
2tblspns Raw Wheatgerm (replace with Coconut or Chia Seeds if you want to have gluten free bliss balls)
2tblspns Dulse Flakes
2tblspns Chia Seeds
2tblspns Quinoa Grain

Handful Walnuts
Handful Almonds
One half or 3/4 of a Vanilla Pod

The method is to generally get the dried goods chopped up, the nuts whizzed in a food processor, then to add 'the other bits'...this is how I did it...

  1. Chop up the Vanilla Pod, Apricots, Sultanas, Goji Berries and Pitted Prunes and whizz them in the food processor for around a minute to get the Apricots finely chopped up. Tip that lot into a mixing bowl.
  2. Put the Nuts, Coconut, Raw Wheatgerm, Quinoa and Chia into the food processor and chop up till fine but slightly chunky here and there. 'Rubble' texture.
  3. Add the dried fruits mix back into the food processor along with the Flaxseed Oil, a little at a time. Blend until the mixture comes together in a blob.
  4. Remove from the food processor into the mixing bowl and give it a bit of a turn over with a tablespoon so that you are satisfied the ingredients are well mixed up.

Then its a case of rolling small portions into balls, and then rolling them in some more coconut so they don't stick together. Tub up and keep cool or refrigerate. These last for a day in a 'pack up' and make a tasty and super-nutritious snack. Refrigerate for a few weeks...but they'll be eaten before then anyway.

Enjoy! :)
Blessings

"Mum, how do they make these Smarties blue?"

Its a simple and innocent question isn't it? We don't see 'blue' in the food spectrum very often. Perhaps a brilliant Plum, or a deeply indigo Blueberry, a purple headed Brocolli, or a purpley-blue Bean or Corn somewhere...even some heirloom varieties of Carrot and Tomato are bluish hued, but generally, its not an everyday kind of food colour. So how do they make blue Smarties, or anything like that in the 'candy family'??

Take a good look at these photos and really *think* to yourself...would you call this stuff 'food'?

Blue that we see in food colouring now is derived from coal tar or petroleum. It is an irritant (see the listing for Blue food colouring in Bill Statham's 'The Chemical Maze' for more info...its even available as an app now...jeesh!) and has been criticized for its ability to produce asthmatic reactions, hyperactivity and the so-called ADD symptoms. So why is it in our food? Its because the American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ok'd it for use in our foods, and so Australia takes its lead from the FDA and therefore we also have this in our food consumables. Not all countries in the world are so irresponsible towards their citizens though. Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, Spain, Greece and Italy, plus Germany and France have all banned the use of this in foods sold in their countries. Smart hey...

When the same kind of blues can be produced using Spirulina (a blue-green algae which also has wonderful mineral and protien content) it makes you wonder why any government would risk the health of their population by allowing a poison into the food supply. Or does it? A population that is unwell is more easily controlled via a medical system that will also drug and stupify with resultant side effects that will just 'keep 'em coming back for more'. A vicious circle it is. Many of the pharmaceutical drugs prescribed for reactions are often laced with the same kinds of food colourants in the capsules or tablet coatings!

And its not only in food that we have to look out for this particular colourant. It is used in personal hygiene products like hair dye, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, perfume, bodysprays, medical gels, handwash, bodywash, bubblebath and even in baby care products too...then there is the blue in detergents of all kinds. Blue is seen to be 'fresh and clean' so marketers regularly use it to make consumers *think* that their product is hygienic and 'fresh'. The reality is that anyone using a blue coloured product is slathering a petroleum based product over themselves or their food utensils, etc....

When I read that these synthetic food dyes have been found to be carcinogenic to animals (human's aren't trialled and therefore that 'research data' is not available, however, last time I checked a Human was a mammal...a type of animal) I was easily able to make the choice not to consume foods that I knew were affected by these additives, and that I did not want my children ingesting them either! While the mainstream information channels will be regurgitating the usual 'don't worry, its all been tested' spiel, the reality is that most of these many synthetic dyes have not been tested in trials on humans, and certainly not on children, so the data about reactions, hospitalisations and deaths are only collected from the many people affected, or dealing with the side-effects, of ingesting these toxic chemicals. Be aware of what you eat and not afraid.

*this* is the kind of thing I'm talkin' about ... fresh food, vibrant colours, all natural and all good!

There's plenty of choices out there for Real Food and safe products you can use for your body and your house that work, without the negative side-effects of synthetic chemicals.

To find pure, safe and ethical products for personal care use please visit my Miessence store. There's even a few products for nutrition too that can help you kick start and maintain the detoxifying of your body from toxic chemical burden.

Forecast for August - Flying Stars Feng Shui

This month we see that set of 2,7 and 3,7 combo's again, but this time in the Centre and North, meaning that the sense of Groundedness in life is directly related to Career or Vocation, and, it means there is potential for 'loss' in these two areas. I am always inclined to add Salt Water Cures to areas affected by the Star 2, as it is not only the Traditional Cure, but also good solid commonsense to give the area this boost of atmospheric cleansing and vibrational heightening.
Feel free to download this jpg and print it out for a closer look :)

Onwards to the forecast...

Centre: Star 7 is visited by Star 2 bringing that combination that can spell illhealth due to over socialising. It can also point to ill health from intoxication of any sorts. This is because of 7's Pleasure and Destruction associations and its love of chat, gossip and socialising. Its a party animal. Star 2 is Accumulation and Connections, but is also known traditionally as the Black Star of Illhealth. Low level energy in the Centre Palace needs to be dealt with NOW to avoid any unbeneficial occurrences.
Tip: Clear, Clean and Repair where necessary. Input a Salt Water Cure, Golden Gourd or Calabash representation, or just up the Metal representation of the Centre Palace this month. Be super aware of your intake regarding alcohol, all kinds of drugs, even down to caffeine and chocolate/desserts etc.

North: The 'potential loss' combo of the 3 Annual plus visiting 7 Monthly brings in possibilities of losing something relating to your work, (Career or Vocation) or the inevitable 'letting go' of something that no longer serves your Life Purpose.
Tip: Don't Panic. Be objective in your observation of events and navigate with as much aplomb as you can muster. The cool head really does help in this kind of situation. Elementally Balance with Fire, Water and Earth representations to help create that helpful cycle of energy.

Northwest: 3,8 is always good for business, commerce, plans etc... so with that potential to have something lost, 'taken' or released re your North sector associations, it is heartening to see this energy of the Mentor (Progression, Travel and Helpful People) sector looking strong and useful. Consider the concept of 'doors opening' where others are closing.
Tip: Be alert for helpful hands, hearts and minds circling your Life Experience. They can come in any form from a TV ad, Radio program, helpful book or a new friend. Be open to possibilities and don't buy into any drama queen antics that may arise from what's going on in the Centre and North. 'kay? xxx big hugs. mwah!

Southwest: 4,8 can see a battle of wills arising as 4 is such an ambitious energy wanting to move quickly, whereas 8 is slow and steady. This arising in the Relationships/Connections sector may be significant to couples sharing a bedroom here, or having a main entrance door to their home in this area.
Tip: Subdue this with Fire representation that will bolster the 8 energy (Earth feeds off Fire) and weaken the 4 energy (Wood is used up by Fire). Earth 8 always responds beautifully to gorgeous gemstones of Red and Black hues :)

West: The Vivacious energy of Star 9 welcomes the naturally bolstering Wood energy of Star 4 which is Passionate and ambitious. These two really want to kick start something, and seeing them together in the Creation sector bodes well for anyone needing that impetus to begin a project or to get that final piece of the puzzle to wrap up something that has been lingering or feeling like its 'in limbo'.
Tip: Elementally boost with Wood representations to nourish both the Wood Star 4 and the Fire Star 9.

East: 'fraid it isn't as nice on this side of the paddock...5,9 is often a 'confusion' combination as 5 is all about uncomfortable change (usually) and 9 has associations with the Head (and that outgoingness that usually helps us through all sorts of things).
Tip: With this combo I suggest NOT signing off on contracts until you and some others you implicitly trust, look over it with a fine tooth comb. Do not leave things to chance. You DO need to read it again. And then again. Boost up the Metal representation with LOTS of 'The Sound of Metal'. Yep, go the CD with metallic sounding stuff on it...or get the windchimes out and then put another one out too...you get the picture.

Northeast: The Contemplation zone is also compromised this month with the arrival of Star 5.
Tip: Do the same Metal boost here as it will nourish the Water Star 1 and zap the Star 5.

South: THIS is the sector for a little contemplation, as it is hosting the beautiful 2,6 combo of 'Heaven Meets Earth'.
Tip: Add representations of divine beings and as 2 is Earth and 6 is Metal, they will both be enhanced with the input of some Earth element. Citrine and Elestial Quartz are both lovely for this, but if you have some Angel Quartz that would suit nicely too.

A good month of possible Progression and useful removal if the energy layers are sitting nicely. If you feel things getting uncomfortable don't waste any time, get clearing and reap the benefits of this.
NB***Do take notice of you physical security and that of your property to. In such a month where there is that 3,7 combo manifesting, do a check of your locks and screens in the North sectors to avoid anything unpleasant occurring. Clear away any accumulated ugliness from outside the building in this area if possible too.

Have a gorgeous August xxx
