Tuning into Love - 006 'Buddha Blessings'

MY Happy-Abundance-Wealth-Prosperity Buddhas with tumbled Citrine for extra mojo... :)
Tuning into Love through visual representations is something we probably don't take a heap of notice of when it happens. We may find we feel happier, or softer, or more compassionate...its an unconscious shift in emotional or mental perspective. I've noticed that since my focus in life shifted towards finding more clarity, peace and harmony that I've had a influx of Buddhas into my life, my home ... and it feels like being blessed over and over again.

These happy little blokes in the photo above sit around my house, being moved here and there with the energy, or the children's wishes, or my need to 'clean up' and 'get minimal' in one area or another. They make their way all over the place, and sometimes I'll find them on a shelf they've never visited before, or popped into a display cabinet with a dragon or a teacup. Odd to come upon them like that, but I know they've got their own agenda, and I know that they are blessing things as they move around the house, so I leave them to it and just smile. I do Love my little happy buddhas, and they enable me to tune into the frequency of Love so easily.

Buddha is such an iconic figure in so many cultures, and it is lovely to see it becoming mainstream, used in interior decorating to infuse a space with a certain message. We should all be so lucky to have places with such extreme harmony like this example below. Very minimal but also clean, tidy, organised and very relaxing (to me). I do also like the 'drama' of a totally black wall. Its ded sexy really.... :)

As all things carry a vibrational message, its interesting to note that the word Buddha comes from a Sanskrit word meaning 'enlightened' or 'aware'. Buddha means 'the enlightened one'. Being 'more aware' in life only leads to more clarity, and with clarity comes good decisions, helpful choices and the manifestation of a life lived consciously. Gotta love that ;)

Buddhas are all around my home now, and I receive them as presents. A gorgeous white stone Buddha for my dressing table from my partner, a beautiful Kuan Yin Buddha for my house from a dear friend, a child sized statue (again from my partner) for the front door to greet our guests, and a set of 'Medicine Buddha'  prayer flags that I used for years until they literally fell apart; their blessings scattered on the winds.

This image of Buddha in the meditation pose is my favourite. A calming, serene and quietening figure to encourage me towards enlightened thinking, and a conduit for Love.
