What's in your home? And if its there, is it Safe?

We take for granted a lot of the procedural documentation that is supposed to go along with products we buy. We accept that our homes are built using toxic cement, paints that contain chemicals, our carpets dyed with synthetics and then set using petroleum based agents, and we can't really have an input into those things (sometimes), especially if we are renting and not building.

But where we CAN make conscious choices we can be making an effort to reduce our toxic burden.

This basically comes down to everyday consumables. Our food, our drinks, our treatments, therapies, remedies, personal care items. The list is pretty big actually, when you think about it. And when you think about it, you begin to see its a process of one step at a time. One product at a time perhaps...

Safety and Security are important to us. Its a primal need to feel safe and secure for good health in all aspects; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual too. Providing security for our loved ones is also a natural imperative, and this can be the most powerful driving force in altering your perceptions and making you begin to ask questions of all that you have been told before.

When you next go to purchase anything consumable, have a moment to consider its sustainability, its impact upon your health. Thinking Holistically is a learned thing for most of us, but in learning this we can learn so much more :)
