"All I want for Christmas....

...is some decent non-toxic, useful and ethical produced presents"

Oh how boring hey? but true. I dislike getting 'things', I suppose all of us do really, because they end up being those 'things' that in 2 years or 5 years time we are looking at thinking...'that *thing* has never suited my house/life', and we are filled with anxiety, or guilt, or apathy about the 'thing' being a not suitable thing. The amount of 'throw away consumables' today is just insane. It makes me think that we have really, really, really, lost the understanding of 'value'.

The idea that bulk buys are better than concentrated good quality items, or that getting a larger amount of something that we need means its better is just crazy. That old phrase 'Quality not quantity' springs to mind. Quality Time with our loved ones is vastly better than spending empty days vascillating along in a stream of obligations. Quality products make us feel better just like quality food makes us healthier, quality air makes it easier for us to breathe, and quality of environment gives us a better world to live in.

Quality people! that's what life is about :)

When I am observing and assessing a property as a Feng Shui consultant what I am looking and feeling is the quality of Qi (Chi) in that area, those spaces, and how it changes in response to certain stimuli...ie: family members, light, temperature, time of day etc.. The quality of the energy is the 'key' to understanding if it is beneficial or detrimental.

So what's the quality of modern throw away consumables? LOW! Apart from the toxic plastic construction of much of this throw away 'stuff', the production of it has a 'pollution history', and that lingers on the item or object too. The fact that it is 'cheap' is not 'good'.

If you can't buy high priced gifts consider buying something small and of good quality. Some boutique organic chocolate, or a gorgeous lip balm, or superfood drink mix. Consider giving them a voucher for a pedicure (anyone with mobility challenges is simply going to LOVE you for this), or 30 minute therapeutic treatment (choose a therapy that suits the recipient ie: sports massage or Reiki healing?) or similar. The kind of thing that they may not consider getting for themself. When they look back on the year's 'gifts' that they have received, it may just be yours that they smile about and think..."yeah, I'm gonna really enjoy that massage", and you'll be feeling their gratitude too. There are loads of ethical companies and businesses out there. Choose to give them your custom this year instead of just picking any old thing...

There is true value in good vibes ;) Share some around and they'll come back around.

Blessings for Easy Solutions to End-of-Year Celebrations !
