2012 Annual Influences Guide – The Year of the Earth Dragon

It’s that time of the year again when we’re looking towards organising our potentials for the coming year, and next year is no ordinary year, its 2012, momentous and hopefully fortuitous for us as well. The Annual Ruling Influence for 2012 is Star 6. This Influence is associated with Authority, Leadership, Giving, but it is also a bit of a task master, and when considering that in 2013 we will have the Annual Ruling Influence of Star 5 (Pure Potential) then it all makes perfect sense to get ourselves very organised and aligned so that during the year of Pure Potential, we are not flagellating, being blown by winds we cannot harness, and left to the currents of Change, which are always potentially uncomfortable for us humans…

So this year is very much a year of preparing our spaces, in our homes, and our Hearts, Minds and lifestyle choices. As usual it’s not all about what you can add, adjust or put ‘in’, sometimes it’s more about what you can remove, fix and improve that is the key. Items, possessions, behaviours and patterns of life can often become ‘Qi Leaks’ and these need remedying before we begin implementing any Remedy. This year’s AIG is all about Preparation Inspiration!  I want you to find those key Qi Leaks at your property and fix ‘em up! As a helper I’ve posted a file on my website called ‘Key Qi Leaks and How to Fix Them’, available as a free pdf downloadable file. I hope it gives you some ideas and inspiration to prepare your spaces for the highest possible Qi Flow obtainable.

As the Feng Shui New Year begins on January 23^rd 2012, I will be hosting the Annual Influences Guide Presentations during the end of November and early December 2011. This way we will have time to implement any suggested changes to our property, and truly be ‘organised’ for 2012. Dates available for Presentations are:

November – Saturday 19^th and 26^th, Sunday 20^th and 27^th

December – Saturday 3^rd, 10^th and 17^th, Sunday 4^th, 11^th and 18^th

Morning Presentations are available from either 9 or 10am through to 12 or 1pm. Evening Presentations are available between 6pm to 9pm.

Presentations take approximately 3hrs and are held at private residences here on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane. Further gatherings will be considered, please contact me to discuss hosting a Presentation in your area. If you would like to host a Presentation there are a few perks of course :)

1.     Each Host receives a free copy of the AIG 2012

2.     You will have your own property as the ‘practical training’ part of the Presentation, giving personal insights into how to use the Annual Influences on your home. (It’s sort of like a mini-consult all of your own)

3.     I can help get some of the attendees from previous Presentation guests if you are happy to have new friends come along to your home :)

Requirements to host a Presentation:

1.   A room large and comfortable enough for roughly 10 people to sit and enjoy 3hrs of talking and sharing. A dining room table is fine, but whatever space you have that can work like this is great. Outdoor entertaining areas are lovely too, Rumpus rooms, combined lounge and dining areas, etc.
2. You’ll need to find at least 5 other attendees but not more than 8, as this amount of people allows me to answer specific and personal questions about each person’s property on the day.
3. Each attendee needs to purchase at least one copy of the AIG 2012 (still only $50.00 AU) to come along to the gathering.

Guests are invited to bring a plate of something fresh and nutritious to eat as morning tea or supper, as the Presentation is broken up in two parts so that we don’t hit information overload. There is a LOT to cover! :)

Yes, I’ll still offer a quick run-down on the Annual Flying Stars at your property if you can bring along:

• ·        A clean copy of your floorplan and property boundaries with some landscape notes (ie: hill in the North, river to the South…busy road to the left side of the property, stand of trees in such and such a direction…etc)
• ·        Directions marked in (taken using a compass, not the rising and setting sun…)
• ·        Some photos if you have them will be helpful

This year my focus is on going through the preparation for getting great Qi Flow! Yes, we’ll talk about the Annual Influences in depth, go over a bit of basic and advanced Feng Shui theory, answer questions, find solutions etc…but what I do want everyone to take away with them this year is the Preparation Inspiration to ‘fix Qi leaks’ and learn how to identify them, before the necessary ‘tweaking’ and ‘remedies’ are placed. This way each and every one of you will receive the optimum efficiency from your Annual Influences Guide. 

I’ve also revised Modules 1 and 2 and 3 last year, added a little more this year too. They are now packed full of diagrams, charts and more visual examples to help. All three Modules are available now for ordering, along with some Assessment Modules coming in the very near future. I recommend these as great aides to begin or further Feng Shui knowledge and they are also designed to help you become adept at performing your very own Feng Shui Assessments.
