Treasured Possessions

Feng Shui theory can sometimes seem like it is asking us to become quite clinical in our homes, almost to be minimalist, but in practise this is not the case. Clutter is not the things we love and use and treasure, but the stuff that is unloved, unused and neglected.

Looking around your space now, what can you see that is loved and treasured? Even to the point of the room that you are in...is it a treasured space? Is it well looked after both vibrationally and practically? Vibrational maintenance is so important because its these unseen energy layers that we interact with so intimately. They pervade our subconscious and influence our moods and emotions in a subtle yet powerful way. Think about picking up a favourite item that you own. Might be that perfectly warm jumper or the most perfectly fitting dress you have. Might be a statue that you saved for or found by perfect synchronicity (when you thought about it it then appeared for you to own). What does it feel like to pick that item up and adore it? :) nice hey?

This kind of vibration can also be felt for a space. The way the sunlight allows you to warm up in a precisely positioned chair, or how the shade covers a valued workspace so that you can enjoy a view and be comfortable in your tasks. This kind of feeling is where Feng Shui studies wants to take you more and more. In the diagram below (taken from Manual 1 'Holistic Feng Shui and Energy Layers, Page 6) the energy exchanges between a building and its environment are many, and you can use each one to gain more harmony by lifting the vibration of each connection.

Our possessions tell us a lot about ourselves. If we have many possessions that aren't treasured, we may well be the kind of person who is scattered from one fancy to the next, perhaps a person who follows 'fads' or has many unfinished hobbies. Someone who has uncluttered spaces with defined treasures will probably reap the benefits by having an uncluttered Mind, and be able to stay on task to achieve many successes in Life.

Feng Shui is about creating harmonious flow in the vibrational energy of your spaces, your life and your body too. When you give time to this kind of endeavour you will soon begin to see how maintaining the vibrational energy manifests in a practical way in your life for more health, wealth and happiness.

Blessings for nourishing spaces

PS: this is one of my treasured possessions... :)
A lovely big Buddha statue. Fittingly situated with a soft velvety runner beneath it. I love gazing at this and appreciating the vibrational energy it instills in my home.
