A little insight into the 2010 Tiger influence

This is taken from the AIG 2010 only available from Holistic Therapy Connections...

"The Yang Metal Tiger is a symbol of Potential Conflict. With the Hexagram of the year showing Metal above Wood, it indicates a potentially volatile energy combination, where Authority will be directly confronting Conflict. Wood Element is also one that brings Competition, Growth, Ambition and Stimulation. With these kinds of energies being held in a controlling cycle we can expect some sort of disharmony to come.
Thank goodness we are in a year of the Flying Star 8, The Angel of Wealth & Happiness, which can bring some stability and repose to a year that promises to bring on its share of arguments and the implications of Power being wielded.
Tiger is a magnificent and cautious animal. Patient and only aroused to anger by being cornered or hunted. Generally they will fade into the background using extraordinary camouflage, and bide their time, watching and waiting for the opportune moment. They are passionate and loving, and in immature stages will jump in before properly assessing the situation. This is the most dangerous potential of Tiger energy. Like any feline their natural curiosity can lead them into confusion, sometimes manifesting as a crisis of decision.
With Tiger being a natural Leader, (sometimes Tigers are just so adorable or impressive its hard not to stare!) it is going to be difficult for this energy layer to take commands from the Metal energy in power this year. For this reason it will be important to control the temper using a weave of Holistic Therapies like contemplation, soothing and cooling dietary intake to smooth the metabolism, regular exercise to relieve physical stress, and a strong plan to alleviate any mental and emotional stress.
After 2009’s Star 9 energy wanting to ‘get going’ and ‘get out there’, the energy of the Tiger and Star 8 ask you to step back and bit and survey the landscape, take in some time to rejuvenate and restore calm. It will also want to leap and bound as well, so it will be a year of contrasts for all of us!

The Year of the Tiger has special significance for people born in 1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998 and 2010.
People born in the years of the Monkey can alleviate their position in direct opposition to the Ruling Zodiac Animal (Tiger) this year by wearing or carrying a representation of Pig or Boar.
Pig is the ‘secret friend’ of Tiger and will protect the Monkey from harm and misfortunes. Rat also enjoys a special affinity with Tiger and can benefit from that this year.
Horse and Dog are allies of Tiger and will benefit from their Tiger friends this year, as Tigers will benefit from their Horse and Dog friends."

Wishing everyone a Prosperous, Healthy & Happy 2010 :)
Many Blessings
Jannette
