Flying Stars Forecast for August

Hello and welcome to August!
In the Centre Palace this month we see the fortunate combination of the 9 Fire Star nourishing the 8 Earth Star. Seeing as 8 is also the Ruling Period Star makes this especially auspicious! Feng Shui Periods are 20yrs each and there are 9 Periods, making a 180 year cycle of energies. We are currently in the Star 8 Period, The Angel of Wealth and Happiness. The Energy Signature of the 8 Star is one of taking stock, resting, accumulating and planning. During August we are doubly blessed with the Monthly Star and the Period Star being nourished by the Ruling Annual Star 9. Great Stuf! It is traditionally named ‘the Happy Events combination’ and indicates a time where the potential for auspicious ‘happenings’ may occur, given the right conditions to manifest of course. To encourage this good energy into your Life simply support it in the Centre area of your building with Fire and Earth representations. Reddish coloured gemstones and crystals work beautifully with this combination, or you can easily input the colour representations of Reds and Browns using throw rugs, mats, cushions and curtains if possible.

Another beautiful combination in the SE Wealth and Growth sector with the 7,8 ‘young romance’ combination. 7 and 8 are both associated with the youngest members of the family in either gender, hence the name of the combination. 7 is usually chatty and sociable while 8 likes to relax and take it all in. A nice pairing for relaxing evenings and pleasant afternoon or morning teas. This one is also well supported with beautiful gemstone displays, but you can do well with Fire in Colour and Shape here to support the Annual Star 8 and wealth endeavours during 2009.
There is a potential for conflict in the South Reputation and Fame sector unless two parties who are very similar can choose to work together and be a true partnership. The 3 and 4 Stars are both Wood, and so can be encouraged or subdued in the same way. Subdue with Fire in Colour and Shape, or encourage with Water in Colour and Shape. A family home may wish to subdue anyway, but a business would possible prefer to stimulate the competitive edge of these two energies, and reap the Growth resonance from them!
The SW is marred by the visiting Star 5 in August. It can bring headaches to the Annual Star 6, and can be subdued with Metal in Shape and Colour, which will act as a support to the Metal Star 6 anyway.

The East and NE both have ‘argument’ potentials in August. NE needs Metal (sound might be the way to go here) and the East needs Water in Shape and Colour pronto! Conflict in the East sector is never nice as it relates to our Family and Health Life Aspects. Sort out any junk and storage you may have here, give it a clean out and air it if you can. Don’t wait for ill-health and arguments, get preventative instead of curative. The potential for arguments and disagreements in the NE Knowledge and Self Cultivation sector can indicate blocks or barriers to higher learning. Take it easy and take time out. Adopt the mantra ‘Everything is occurring in Perfect Timing’ and believe it.

Female dominance is a potential in the West during August. It also points to a possible situation where a significant male will feel left out or unvalued. 2, 1 combination can be so very potentially explosive. 2 Earth indicates the dominant female being ‘pushed into action’ by the 1 Water. It reeks of that situation where a woman is doing a truckload of work because of an inadequate or younger person. This can lead to resentment, exhaustion and problems. As the West is the sector for Creativity and Children, it has a strong Energy Signature for Mums and women in positions of authority at work. To alleviate it you can weaken the Star 2 with Metal energy, which will strengthen the Star 1 Water and bring in more Wisdom and Ideas for the Creative sector.

Lastly, the North Career and Life Purpose gets a blast of Star 4 Passionate energy. This may see some big inspirations, ideas and general input of energy into your favourite ‘use of time’. The usual cherry blossom enhancer for Star 4 isn’t usable this month due to the presence of the Star 5 in the North.

I hope you all have got your metal wind chime up, outdoors if possible, in the North to alleviate and deflect the Star 5 energy for 2009. If you can, also put the Wealth Bringer Bowl remedy outside the building in the North to really get rid of pesky troublesome Star 5 mojo. (my little toddler has decided to use it for ‘patty fingers’ water, so it had to get moved)
