How to promote opportunities for WEALTH ...

So its Feng Shui New Year straight after Chinese New Year in 2011! That means we can get preparations completed and great new energy grids set up for you and your property to receive Peace, Health and Prosperity this year :) Great stuff!

What you absolutely need to know this year to promote opportunities for WEALTH:
Clear up and make gorgeous the NW area of your property and building. The Annual Wealth Star 8 is residing in the NW Progression (Travel and Helpful People) sector this year, and will be encouraging wealth opportunities via advice from Mentors, Gurus, Teachers, Good Samaritans, Guardian Angels and the like. The energy of the NW is one of Divine Synchronicity, where you are able to 'tap into' the collective consciousness and find exactly what you need when you need it.

*de-clutter - this promotes the good Chi Flow in all matters of wealth. If you have no 'space' in your physical living or working environment, then the Universe interprets this as meaning you have no room for new energy. When we don't de-clutter we may feel heavy, possibly distracted, and overwhelmed with the care and storage of possessions. Without an outflow there can be no beneficial inflow, only blockage, bloating, stagnation. Remove items that would keep you locked into unhappy memories, past problems or unbeneficial connections.

*clean  - using environmentally conscious cleaning choices, remove dirt, smells, dust, rubbish, etc from the NW. View your work as if it was an invitation to the Universe to come on in with the wealth ideas!

*set an intention/affimation - what do you need in your life? what is your 'wealth' going to be? how would you like wealth to manifest in your life? Set aside some time to identify just what it is you are intending to attract this year to make you feel 'wealthy'. Write up an affirmation and place it in your diary, in a frame for the hallway table, or in an envelope to put into a Wealth Vase.
"I attract spontaneous windfalls of cash in Perfect Ways"
"My business' Prosperity increases every day"
"My family Love and Appreciate me just as I am"
"I invite the beauty of Time for All Things to manifest in my Life"
"I am now receiving Healing on all required levels of my Being"
You will figure out what your 'wealth' is... ;)

*Place a running water feature in the NW for this year, and clean the water regularly. This stimulates Chi Flow and 'activates' the wealth influence.

*Place some reddish coloured gemstones in the NW to support the Annual Wealth Star 8, which is an Earth element and nourished by Fire.

*Place images of things that imbue the space with a feeling of 'Flow'. Waterfalls, Rivers, etc, or icons like Arch Angel Micheal, Ganesha (Remover of Obstacles), Lakshmi, a Cornucopia (horn of prosperity), Golden Buddha, etc that invite in the kind of energy you require to help with your chosen affirmation.

Not sure where I got this image from....if its yours let me know so I can credit you with it :)

Use the Northwest area of your property or building as a place to take breaks, brainstorm with pad and pen, surf the net with a laptop, read, listen to radio programmes, watch TV...etc, any activity where you enable a conduit for messages to reach you...'unexpectedly'. ;)

Feng Shui New Year begins on February 4th 2011. Chinese New Year is on Feb 3rd 2011. In either case, its good to have done a stack of cleaning, tidying and clearing out before these dates. Clean the front door area too so that your property says 'hello! and Happy New Year' with the best possible appearance :))

You might find this post called 'New Year Feng Shui' helpful if you need a few more tips for New Year preparations. And you can find out all about the energy layers for 2011 in the Annual Influences Guide and Calendar available only from Holistic Therapy Connections.

Blessings for Peace, Health and Prosperity :)

Tips for good health in perilous conditions

In the last few weeks I've seen the massive clean up effort after devastating floods and tidal wave flash floods that have taken lives, left a path of utter destruction, and also a river of sewerage laden mud across and area that is difficult to actually comprehend. My home town of Brisbane has been inundated with floodwater. My brother's business went under, and everything is contaminated, nothing salvageable. So many people are without a clean environment to even rest in let alone 'go home' to.

Its not just one township dealing with the mess and sorrow, but several townships, towns and a whole city and outlying areas too. It is hard to take in just how many people are at risk from unstable ground, buildings, debris, and to have that coupled with severe pollution from the sewerage systems overflowing in these areas is simply horrific.

The advice from authorities is to dowse yourself and any salvaged possessions in 'disinfectant', but if you can get to supplies of natural disinfectants, you'll be much healthier than those who are having to use the 'commercial grade chemicals'. Your stock standard 'disinfectant' is loaded with colours, fragrances and chemicals that weaken your immune system, which is exactly what you'll need as supported as possible to deal with the harmful microbes in the environment for the next few weeks.

Alternatives to commercial disinfectants that work:

Eucalyptus and/or Tea Tree, Lavender, Clove, Thyme, Oregano, Rosemary Essential Oils - dilute with water to disinfect surfaces, wash clothes, skin (dilute well eg: approx 3 drops/L and do a patch test first), utensils and more.

White Vinegar and Water with Bi-Carb Soda - this is a cleaner and deodoriser. The vinegar is acidic and reacts with the salt of the bi-carb to create a fizzy, bubbly, cleaning miracle. Good for using on so many things! Use as an alternative to laundry powder or liquid, and instead of regular dishwashing powders and rinse aides too. Use as a mixture to wash kitchen items and cutlery, crockery etc. A good mix is 1 tablespoon of bi-carb to 1 cup of white vinegar and into a few litres of water for washing 'things'. In a washing machine, use 3 tablespoons of bi-carb soda instead of detergent, and a half cup of white vinegar instead of softener or rinse-aide. (if you can add some essential oil to these it will enhance the disinfecting ability)

Lemons / Citrus fruits - kill bacteria on contact. Use the skin chopped up and put into a sock and then into a load of washing. It will release the volatile oils that kill bacteria. Use the juice to wash kitchen items in and rinse off with diluted lemon juice in boiled water. Use the pith to scrub tiles, grout and basins. Rinse with diluted lemon juice or the vinegar-bi-carb-soda mix. Use a mixture of diluted lemon juice and clean water to spray 'clean rooms' to sleep or rest in. Lemon Oil is shown to kill 99% of airborne bacteria! (a suitable mix is 10 drops/500ml, shake well)

Boiling Water - kills bacteria and sterilises items for eating with, or preparing food on. Adding salt to the boiling water further enhances its purifying ability.

Salt - all salt is a purifier, and will help to keep your skin clean. Use ground salt straight with a little oil and lemon juice to make a good skin scrub to get rid of grease and muck out of your fingerprints and creases in the hands and wrists, elbows, kneecaps, toenails, feet, heels etc. Add some essential oil (about a drop per hand) to enhance the disinfecting ability. Scrub breadboards or food preparation surfaces with salt and lemon, rinse of with boiled water.

Colloidal Silver - This product is getting wider and wider attention as its uses are made known. Diluted into a spray bottle, this stuff kills bacteria and viruses on application. No rinsing necessary. It has no fragrance, is colourless and doesn't cause allergic reactions. It can be ingested to remove parasites from the digestive tract or added to water to ensure its safety,  inhaled (as a vapour spray) to relieve sinus infection, sprayed into the ear, eyes or nose to address infections, and sprayed onto the skin, wounds, cuts, abrasions, stings, bites etc without causing stinging pain. Truly miraculous stuff!

Immune System Supporters for anyone, anywhere:

  • Get clean water, its imperative. Our cells respire using water, without it the whole body grinds to a halt and clogs = sickness. Average adult human consumption of clean water in 'normal' conditions is around 3.5L/day and more liquid coming from fruit and vegetables consumed. In these awful conditions being experienced by so many, it would be expected an adult would need closer to 5L/day.
  • If you can find vegetables and fruits like Cucumbers, Watermelon, Rockmelon, Citrus Fruits, etc,  these will help your Kidneys stay healthy as they promote cleansing and natural body detoxification. Avoid eating meat as it sucks water from the body with the amount of energy it needs to be digested. Avoid low nutritional food like cakes, pastries, etc.  (unless of course they are the only things available...)
  • Meditate or find some quiet contemplation. Stress is a huge strain on the immune system as it oxidises cells. Once this occurs the debris from the cell is chucked into the system to be detoxed...if this becomes overloaded, the body is at risk of having an immune system crash. Shock and sorrow are massive cell oxidisers. People constantly exposed to stress from war, displacement, natural disasters and food shortages have higher stress related illnesses specifically due to their weaker immune system response.
  • Keep fingernails and toenails cut short and cleaned regularly, its simple personal hygiene that will go a long way. Don't be tempted to eat anything without washing your hands thoroughly.
  • Wear protective barriers like face masks or handkerchiefs for your nose, mouth and ears while working in 'clean up' areas as airborne particles will carry harmful bacteria. Wash these orifices with salted water (saline solution = 1 cup water with half a teaspoon of salt dissolved).
  • Connect with help and get assistance for the emotional fallout. You deserve hugs, help and love.

Blessings to those who are doing it so tough at the moment. Sending Angels in all forms.

Tuning into Love 023 - 'What is your treat?"

Since when does giving yourself a 'treat' equal piling up with processed sugar and gunk?
"I can't give that up! its my Treat!!"
I hear this when I talk about aiming for good health and making serious but life altering changes to the way we live. The whole concept of what 'normal food', normal life, happiness, fulfillment, is, is totally skewed. The concept of what a Treat is, is totally skewed.

A treat to me is when I get a meditation done without being interrupted by a little person needing help to go to the toilet. A treat to me is getting a half box of gorgeous smelling Mangos from my Brother, and then a box of Cherries too, and a half box of Lychees as well! What a treat! A treat to me is finding a place in myself that is quiet and responsive enough to help my children past an emotional issue. A treat to me is the smile on my partner's face and the twinkle in his eye when he is relaxed. A treat to me is finding moments of Peace.

A treat is not a pastry and cafe coffee. It's a bad food choice. Especially if you are doing this each week or each day as 'your treat'.
A treat is not ice cream. That's non-nutrition, heavy and undesirable to the human metabolism.
A treat is not a day out trolling through shops, mindlessly looking at consumables. That's a waste of time and energy.

Tuning into what I LOVE helps me in making good choices about my Treats. I love treating myself to the things that truly nourish me. I LOVE that I've made the connections in life that have brought me great teachers. I LOVE that I am still learning and still falling over at times...it gives me Perspective on the whole situation facing humanity. We aren't here to make treats for ourselves, they are already in place for us to enjoy.

"I LOVE my simple pleasures"
"I am provided for and Loved in so many different ways"

Beautiful Blessings for being able to acknowledge real blessings, small mercies and miracles.
