Key Qi Leaks and How to Fix Them - excerpt

(this is a small excerpt from the free article available at www.HolisticTherapyConnections.com in the Articles and Information section - it is a foundation piece to go with the Annual Influences Guide 2012 - your 'how to' organise the coming year according to Feng Shui principles of energy flow)
"I believe that Qi Leaks are the most important beginning point for any Feng Shui assessment or period of change that a person or property will be undergoing. Finding and fixing these Qi Leaks will establish a better foundation for all Feng  Shui theory, Remedies and suggested changes, and will provide the optimum starting point for all your Qi-Flow ‘tweaking’ to work to their most efficient level.
Identifying Qi Leaks takes a small amount of effort and will reward you with much better energy flow in your Life Experience. There is absolutely no point in spending oodles of time and money to enhance your Wealth Sector if other sectors of the premises are haemorrhaging beneficial Qi. It’s akin to being on a ship with a hole in the hull and running about trying to find a bucket, when what needs to be done is to address the hole in the ship and stop it from sinking! Fix the leak, then attend to the energy levels and Qi-Flow, then enjoy better Life Experiences. Yep, that’s right, a Fu Dog or Money Toad just ‘ain’t gonna fix it’…
Qi Leaks can be identified in part by observing any Sha Qi (low level, unpleasant, ugly) or Si Qi (depleting, sickening, repulsive) that exists in your Life Experience and at your property. This could take the form of :
·         Recurring unhappy events within the home in particular rooms or areas
·         Mould or rot or termite infestation in an area of the building or property
·         Difficult people/neighbours/situations to ‘deal with’ in a particular direction from your property
·         Repeated problems relating to one of the Life Aspects of the Bagua ie: Wealth, Relationships, Reputation, Career, etc. Usually these are best determined by examining any patterns that have occurred over the last few years, especially if you have been in the same premises for that time period.
·         Smashing or breaking things in a particular area of the property
·         Neglected spaces that you’ve never felt inspired to repair
·         ‘Junk Rooms’…or areas of unloved and unused stored items
·         Areas or rooms that give you unexplainable uncomfortable feelings
Once you have established that there may be a Qi Leak to fix, you can then go about making plans or necessary changes to these areas that will energetically and/or physically fix the leak and bring about high quality energy, Sheng Qi, to your property , and this in turn will connect with high quality Life Experiences relating to the Life Aspects of those areas. You’ll see it easily if you concentrate on using The Bagua."

Some very good advice..

This just popped into my inbox this morning and I thought that it was 'advice gold' to be shared :)

"It’s virtually pointless to embark on any health and wellness program until you have flushed all the accumulated, impacted debris and poisonous residues from your digestive tract.
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) in collaboration with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine did a study that found over 249 chemicals in the blood and urine of 9 random human volunteers. These people did not work with chemicals on the job or live near an industrial facility.  Of all the chemicals found:
  •   76 were known to cause cancer in humans or animals
  •   94 are toxic to the brain and nervous system
  •   79 caused birth defects
The Center for Disease Control studies human toxin levels and has found measurable amounts of more than 100 toxic chemicals (man made “exo-toxins”) in blood and urine of the general public.
Toxins from the environment include:
  •     Food additives and preservatives
  •      Household cleaning products
  •     Personal care products
  •     Pesticides
  •     Home furnishings
  •      Clothing
  •     Hobbies: arts/crafts, model building, automotive
  •     Drinking water with chlorine/ fluoride (aluminum)"
The article goes on to introduce Don's 'Pulse' program all about their fabulous dietary cleansing mix, and the retreat you can take to learn about more raw foods etc. All very good info. (http://www.dontolmaninternational.com/)

When I began my personal detox I used simple approaches like going more raw, reducing processed foods and intaking HEAPS more pure water. I also chose to take Chlorella and Spirulina as they take heavy metal poisons out of the body tissue (even the brain tissue) because I had suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, chronic Migraines (which began to morph into small seizures) and a host of other 'toxicity related' symptoms. Simply by taking those two superfoods in tablet form, and making those other small changes to my diet, I found the symptoms just 'dropping away'. No medication needed.

I encourage you to use simple, plant and food based solutions for nutrition and detoxification. The simplest way to start is using the Vitalilty 3 Pack from Miessence. Food and superfood powders, one with high powered Probiotics, all are wonderful antioxidants, and, they are made using Certified Organic Ingredients. No nasties 'lurking' around for your bod to deal with . Just pure nutrition. Nice!

If you would like to learn how to buy these at 30 to 40% off, just get in touch, but anyone can achieve a 20% regular discount with them via the Lifestyle Membership through Miessence. Its free too.

Blessings for good health!

January Flying Stars Forecast

Oooops, bit late on this...sorry...the Full Moon's had me up and down and round about...but here we are, all sorted and synchronised once again....lets get into it :)

January 23rd is the Feng Shui New Year...the start of the new Solar Cycle but the monthly energy changes over early each month, and in January it was quite early...on the 2nd. This energy change was quite tangible and fit well with the whole 'New Years Day' vibe that was already present. We moved into a month ruled by Star 6, which is going to be the new Annual Star come the 23rd. This felt like a gentle awakening to this sometimes very 'forceful' energy layer. And we've just been through Full Moon, the first one since Solstice, so the energy was very buoyant and uplifting. Pity the weather here was so oppressively hot and humid, but then again, when one was lucid in the cool of the evening we were able to Moon gaze happily :)

The NE is 'Inspiration City' :) as the Wise Star 1 and Vivacious Star 9 meet in perfect balance, Water and Fire, in the Contemplation sector.
Tip: Meditate, brainstorm, apply yourself to a particular task or similar in the NE this month to grab hold of this 'yes you can do it and here's how' layer of energy. Solutions will manifest!

The SE Wealth and Growth sector undergoes the Star 5 Influence of Change, and it may well have something to do with a perceived Authority figure seeing as the Annual Star here is still Star 6.
Tip: If you are approached by a superior, a government body or authority figure regarding something that you consider 'stable' that needs to be changed, have patience and put yourself into the structure of whatever protocol is arising. To boost best possible outcomes you can weaken the Star 5 by making sure the area is vibrationally high qi, and add some more Metal in Shape and Colour as well as Sound (metal wind chimes)

The South can potentially make the Mother figure work way too hard this month. Take stock of what needs to be done as opposed to what you *think* is required of you, and make wise choices for balanced energy levels.
Tip: Keep the Salt Water Cure here this month to weaken the 2 and in doing so it will boost the Star 1 of Wisdom, Ideas and Expression, which is also an Angel number and beneficial to support and nourish. As Metal nourishes Water, implementing the remedy for Star 2 actually nourishes the Star 1 Water :)

There is a potential for conflict in the Centre Palace this month with the Annual Star 7 of 2011 releasing and the Monthly Star 6 flying in. Perhaps because the 7 is on the way out this combination feels very weak, and the incoming Annual Star 6 feels as if it is generating power already. As is usual for an incoming Annual Star. For this reason take particular notice of events that occur in or around the Centre of your building...it could be very interesting. Star 6 is the Authority Star, it likes to Give, but also to Lead...It is a Metal energy layer and in combination with the 7 which is also a Metal energy, it can produce 'Clashing Swords'. Usually this is manifested as a battle of wills between family members, but it can spiral into all out fighting if the vibrational energy is very low.

Tip: Implement lots of Water in Shape and Colour and install a visual reminder of Peace and Harmony. Two hands joined, the word 'Peace' done as a banner or artwork, a statue of a meditating person or similar.

In the North our Vocational sector may be severely affected by the contentious 'Fighting Bull Sha' combination of 2,3. This can lead to petty arguments, or full or shouting matches. Be aware of situations that may spiral out of control due to misplaced Ambition (Star 3) or lack of Receptivity (Star 2). Its a tricky combination to 'fix', but I'd err on the side of dismantling the energy layer of the Star 2 if at work, and if at home I'd move towards burning up the Star 3.
Tip: To weaken Star 2 use Metal in Shape and Colour as well as sound. To weaken Star 3 use Fire in pale shades of pink, lavender and peach and shapes of stars or triangles.

The NW's Progression sector gets all romantic with the 'Young Love' combination of 7,8. Romantic stirrings for those not in relationships can manifest, or a particular mindset towards the more 'rosey coloured' view of the world. Not a bad thing really eh?
Tip: Enhance with Fire and Earth energy in Shape and Colour, and, as this is the Annual Wealth Sector too you can of course keep your clean water feature running.

In the SW our Connections may be challenged with the 'Rivalry' potential of 3, 4 combination. Its important to also note that this combination when in a high qi placement will generate a tangible level of 'assistance' energy, as both are Wood influences and seek to grow...which means they CAN grow together if mutual respect for resources is considered.
Tip: Stand back from all confrontation when it comes to friends, family, lovers, partners etc...and view it from on high. Take stock of the energy that is being passed and evaluate the most harmonious path. Use Pale Fire again here to soothe and soften the energy layers present.

In the West there is real opportunity presenting itself for those willing or able to take advantage of a Creative mindset. Oh to have an office in the West and be able to utilise this energy of 9,8 together! would be bliss... Star 9 is the Far Future Star, Star 8 the Monthly Wealth Star, so it also bodes well for any 'plan making' or 'foundation setting' actions in this sector.
Tip: Enhance with Fire and Earth in Shape and Colour as well as clean running water too. * this will be the home of the 2012 Wealth Star 8, so getting the water running early will be beneficial *

Finally, the East and our sense of Health and Family goes through its last month of morphing due to the Star 5 that's been in residence this last year. What a tumultuous set of changes! The Monthly Star 4 takes up residence and will revert to the Annual Star for this sector come February, which will bring a possible sense of purpose towards our Health and Family, our life Preparation, issues this year. When in combination with the Star 5 expect the discomfort of unexpected or unwanted change. To avoid this...
Tip: Boost up the Metal energy of this area and remove all traces of Fire energy if you can. Using the Sound of Metal from a metal wind chime is great as it takes no effort on your behalf other than to purchase and hang the chime in a place where it can 'sing' each day, but, if that is not feasible, you can always play some beautiful Piano music or other metal striking metal music like Balinese gongs and bells or similar. Jonathan Goldman and Steve Halpern each have wonderful recordings of the Chakra meditation bells which you may find useful.

Always use a remedy that resonates with you and makes you feel 'good', uplifted, soothed and relaxed. This will in turn resonate into your living space and your Life Experience.

Blessings for a fab 2012 and beyond!
